Chucky is a 8% shareholder in the club Circa 5million shares worth about £4m!
Who in their right mind would buy 8% of new rangers when Chucky bought 100% for £5.5m?
Did the club have a league to play in when Green and Co paid £5.5m for it?Who in their right mind would buy 8% of new rangers when Chucky bought 100% for £5.5m?
Here is a question for you, do you think that getting into Div 3 increases the value of new rangers to £50m or was the club undersold?

I would imagine that most of the £5.5m purchase fee was borrowed money which would have been repaid by the share issue circa £20m the rest would have been divvied up to the consortium and the income generated by the club would pay most of the day to day running costs!
These guys will have made a killing out of this deal and the loyal support have unwittingly helped!

Easdale and his brother, Sandy, already own around 6% of Rangers, but they want more - and a presence on the board.
However, Sandy Easdale was jailed for VAT fraud in 1997
Interesting. If he's not a reformed character Rangers' VAT bills might be more agreeable. However, Sandy Easdale was jailed for VAT fraud in 1997
The people who Rangers really need to own the club aren't the Easdales. The people they need are the McColl/Park consortium, preferably reunited with Walter Smith.
I know Sandy Easdale. He's great fun, and the taxis and buses etc are well enough run. But he's not in the same league as McColl as a businessman, or Smith as a diplomat.
