i cant see that happening i think it will be a hat-trick of losses for the Villa
I don't know. Newcastle are in poor form. The loss last week to Reading was a shocker. It is a shame my brother was a Villa fan and i remember one of the best nights ever i went to at Villa Park early 80s when they thrashed Victor Guimares 5-1 they were 0-1 down from the first leg but goals from Colin Gibson, Brendan Ormsby and a fantastic hat-trick from Peter Withe his only one for Villa sealed the win the atmosphere was unbelievable i can still remember it today
I used to go to some Villa games with him ( i used to love the local derby games between Birmingham City early 80s) and he would come to Leeds games with me. The best times were Villa v Leeds we would travel together to both grounds go to our teams stands/seats try and spot each other which was hard in those days no mobile phone etc. the banter every saturday watching the scores or waiting for each other to come home from the matches to take the piss if one of us won and the other didnt if we both won it was just yeah roll on next game! sadly hes no longer with us but Villa have always been special to me deep down i want Villa to stay up but at this moment i just cant see it
He may very well turn out to be - but not for 2-3 years.
He's 22, plays in the French equivalent of the Championship and has (according to Wikipedia)a grand total of 65 senior appearances.
He's not a player who is going to make an immediate impact (IMO) and so doesn't really change anything. We need players with experience and who can lead. The current mob are clueless and don't have anyone to lead from the front. The sooner Dunne is fit again, the better.
Rumours suggest that there may also be a last minute signing of a centre half. I'm certainly expecting anyone high profile though.

Wouldn't be pinning my hopes on a quick return for Dunne.Rumours suggest that there may also be a last minute signing of a centre half. I'm certainly expecting anyone high profile though.
"Irish defender Richard Dunne has suffered another injury setback and will miss the crucial World Cup qualifier in Sweden next month.
Dunne was due to play his first game of the season in the Premier League defeat to Newcastle on Tuesday night.
But the Dubliner broke down in training on Tuesday morning and may face a fourth operation on his injured groin."
yes he would but unfortunately we have a wage problem at the moment, just a loan would have helped, its our weakest spot at the moment and unfortunately that one position could be the difference between premier league and Npower
Chris Samba would have done wonders for your lot at the back. Still a point at Goodison is not to be sneezed at.
