Was he sacked?
My sauce says oui. Monk in charge for the weekend. Seeing as he and Chico Flores were trading blows on the training pitch the other week, selection will be interesting.

That's a shame, I like Laudrup. I know Swansea haven't been doing great lately but it's sad how most managers are sacked when they hit a bad patch.

I'm sure he'll walk into another job soon enough though.

Nice guy but not getting results. Swans have been really poor since last season, the sequence of results have been terrible.

It's unfortunate Swansea aren't playing us again, Moyes could have helped ease the pressure by donating some points.

That wouldn't be much of a fight. Flores goes down (and rolls around a lot on the ground) if you look at him the wrong way.

It hasn't been overturned for one reason only, Howard Webb, he is one of the refs going to brazil & it would look silly if the FA was to over rule his ridiculous error in showing Carroll a red card.

Sacking Laudrup is crazy, he's been working with a stretched squad in 4 competitions with his best player out injured for half the season yet they're sill 12th in the league. Hope he stays in England for a bit longer before hes goes off to a top club in Europe.

Not to mention he must be one of their most successful managers ever, the transfer window has just closed and no replacement lined up. I enjoy their style of play, but can't help think they'll do a Wolves now

8 wins out of 35 league games is successful?

Swansea go 100 years without a trophy and he gets them both silverware and European football in his first season with the club..

36 points from 38 games this calendar year and 3 points from the drop zone.

3 points from being in the top half of the table :P

I don't think another manager would've done any better with the same squad and fixture list.

I do wonder if Laudrup is a start well then run out of ideas/can't adapt kind of manager? Seems to start well but then not last that long and as this isn't the first time, it does beg the question.

On an unrelated note, comedy OG in the Barca - Real Sociedad Copa del Rey semi tonight hehe .

I think most people who like a flutter had Chris Hughton down as the next manager to get the chop rather than Laudrup. The expectancy at NOrwich must be pretty low!
