Gerry Francis, Rodney Marsh, Les Ferdinand, MPower Mark....your boys took one hell of a beating!

Time for you to come over to our thread and tell us how much better all your players are...

15,000 at Loftus Road for the opening game after promotion? Why not a full house? Anyone would think it's the price of the tickets? Surely not a problem for west Londoners? hehe

Great to see Warnock say earlier in the week that getting promoted with QPR had finally anded the "toothache" that losing to West Ham (through the illegally played Tevez) on the last day of the season when he was in charge at Shef Utd had caused.

I'm sure many Shef Utd fans will share his delight.

T**t.

Never liked Warnock, ranting on the touch line, swearing and spitting and generally behaving like a nasty piece of work. Of course he couldn't see any similarity between the signing of the Argentinian Alejandro Faurlin whose 3rd party ownership was questioned and that of Tevez. rolleyes What a hypocrite biglaugh

Was waiting for all the comments by the inbreds biggrin

Poor result and hopefully that'll give them a wake up call, our defence is nowhere near good enough, ho hum looks like this season will be a painful one as I suspected from the start.

It seems Dyers injury is not so bad, which is a shame!

We had a goal disallowed in the first few minutes, I'm sure we would have gone on to win had it been allowed wink

Long way to go though, so let's see what occurs!

Well, let's see what happens in the first half a dozen games, we're newly promoted and have to get used to the pace of the Prem, I'm just happy we got there, should we get taken over, which looks very likely, we may just have some money to spend rather than signing a load of rubbish in Gabbidon and Dyer.

I couldn't bare to watch MOTD - too soul destroying frownsmile

Hi - West Ham fan here. I come in peace.

Cant't believe you guys took on Dyer and Gabbidon. Both were quality players a few years ago but imo their best days are well behind them and they are no longer Premiership quality imo.

I hope QPR can stay up as I always support the London teams - even Millwall.

Hope to join you in the Premiership next year.beer

Well it looks like our takeover is all but done and dusted - things should now change and we've already made a bid for Scott Parker.

With Fernandes owning 66% and Bhatia owning 33% at least that muppet Ecclestone is out of the way - let the good times roll and the spending commence!

Indeed... it was like one of those house auction bids you make on a house you'd love to buy but you know the price is going to go much higher so you bid early anyway! £4.0 million scratchchin

Amazing news today! Tango and Cash are finally gone. Owners that care, the Mittals are back on board. It is going to be a very busy 2 weeks. I expect us to sign some real quality, just a shame this couldn't have happened in pre-season and we didn't have to witness that 4-0 defeat last saturday. The future is bright!!

You R'ssssssssssss
