No I meant the lad from Newcastle we are signing for 25m and the guy commented he isn't worth half of that, so £12.5m even though he scored 11 from CM in his 1st season and cost them 15m ....he is bound to be 25m, price is always going to go up when a player proves he can score in this league...£100m for Pogba Im assuming youre talking about? Whats strange is that he (as you put it) came in for £15m, did "the business" or aka 'what he was expected to do for that £15m' and so is now "surely worth more"
That's some twisted logic.
He didn't set the world on fire or even deserve a special mention in the press on almost any weekend so whilst he might have been OKish his revised value of plus £10m after one season including not saving Newcastle from the drop is ludicrous and Levy was right to give him a swerve.
