As for other signings... a keeper and a left back are the critical ones for me. Moreno and Mings just make too many mistakes.
The left back situation is tricky IMO. Flanno and Brad Smith need opportunities but you also need dependable proven quality. I think Moreno doesn't fit. His workrate is mega but he's a liability.

The 'keeper is more straightforward for me. Mignolet needs to be sold and a new first team goalie signed. A quality player between the sticks lifts the whole team. De Gea is the ultimate example of that at present.
We do have Clyne, Flanno and Smith (and Gomez, who I think plays FB), but I don't think we have real quality and depth - Clyne and Flanno are quality, but Smith is too young/inexperienced at this stage IMO, and Gomez has been injured all season so we don't know how he'll do. I think a quality LB would be a good investment.

Spot on with the keeper comment... a proper keeper would be worth as much to us as a decent striker.

What a shock the Liverpool website goes down at 1pm when ballot results are suppose to come out.. for a company worth so much they are stuck in the dark ages with their telephone and internet infrastructure...
My mate missed out - gutted for him. I cant see any spares and the people who could have had a ticket but didnt want to go anyway got put off by the application process.

No need. The club managed to buy their own. We used the money we got from progressing in the Europa League when we knocked you out...

Thanks, I'll get making arrangements! I'll definitely be interested in a ticket, especially if they don't go on general member sale!

I knew the competition was meaningless but I didn't know the winnings just covered the price of a TV. yikes

They bought a subscription to BT sport too, so we can actually watch ourselves in the final.

Ian Ayre wanted Sky sports aswell but the transfer committee wouldn't sign off on it.

Looks like you'll have the opportunity to remind yourself of just how meaningless if things don't change at Upton Park in the next hour.

It's never a bad thing when UTD lose but a draw would have been better.
