Indeed. I’ll be the happiest man if I’m proved wrong from my post above. 10 points from 12, not too shabby at all.

I'm not convinced the VAR red was really a red watching MOTD now.

See my post in the VAR thread. It was borderline - so could have gone either way. Not a clear and obvious mistake, and why wouldn't the on pitch ref consult the monitors to check?

Also, the VAR ref was the same ref that sent Mariappa off a week earlier. Iffy...

Ave it. Unless Villa beat City we'll end the weekend out of the drop zone.

Only Liverpool and City have a better record than us since Pearson took over.

You’re likely to be in the drop zone of the flying pigs if that happens.

Great game today. Nothing too flashy, just the basics done really, really, really, really well.

Out of the bottom 3, and Villa certainly not getting a point today.

I must admit I didn't plan on watching tonight. Had a rare child free evening and went to town with Mrs Puggit. Had a call from the party the kids were at, our daughter had over eaten and been sick. So we packed up and headed home.

Saw the first goal in the car on my phone. Missed the 2nd, watched the 3rd.

What...just...happened...?!

Happy Hornet biggrin

I love Deeney - not only is he absolutely honest but he's also very open about the reality that football is just a job and in the big scheme of things really is not that important compared to health, family etc.
