I had the match on and, whilst not paying great attention to it, when Arsenal started going forward I thought they looked more threatening than Bayern. Bayern's game is possession, Arsenal let them play that and punished them when the opportunities arose, the second goal highlighting that perfectly.
Agreed, we had a lot of pace when we needed it and we defended (on the most part) very well. Just a shame we didn't take advantage of the scoring opportunities we had; saying that, Neuer made some brilliant saves.g4ry13 said:
Sanchez faffs around with the ball too much in danger areas. A few times now he's lost it and given opportunities to Bayern.
He does have that tendency, and generally pirouettes his way out of trouble. TBF though, as soon as we were in possession there were two or three BM players on pressing the ball. Just back from the Emmirates, good result but a bit of a nervy last 20 mins. Cech once again was outstanding and it was a match winning save towards the end. Everton did miss some chances also.
Definitely on a good run at the moment, and with Chelsea losing I shall look forward to MOTD

Love watching Arsenal, Though I am a Forest fan.
Your manager has real class, and whatever the story behind buying Cech, it is clear he is better than signing another striker. Chelsea clearly miss him.
I know comparisons between Wenger and Mourinho always end in a discussion about titles, but honestly I could never support or like a club with Mourinho in charge. He is a cynical and rather obnoxious chap, look at the cards dished out at the West Ham game... that is the influence of Mo.
Wenger is no angel at times, but he is not cynical and he has principles I admire that.

Just back from the game. Lot less possession than usual at home. Dug deep and a great win, I have to say there really was a great atmosphere tonight better than usual. Cech was top quality.
The Wenger out brigade will have to put the knives away for a few days.
nailed it.... mind you.... i think its fair to expect more of this. The Wenger out brigade will have to put the knives away for a few days.
