Arteta saying Saka is fit to play. Too late for me I've pressed the wildcard button already.
But if you've pressed the button then it's not too late to do anything? Including getting him back in?I pressed WC during the week and set up a team. Have a different team now, no room for Saka. Plus prices have moved on too.

Maddison worked out okay as long as Haaland does score a hat-trick
The “problem “ is that everybody captains Haaland so his score rarely matters.Shaoxter said:

As a Spurs fan it was obvious not to captain Son against Luton , that decision has gone well so far let's see what happens today.
Why was it obvious out of interest? Curious as someone who brought him in and captained him this week... 48k said:

Major re-think after the international break methinks. Have the opposition worked out how to play Harland out of the game? Is he worth it anymore?
Haalands stats have been better at home than away since he joined the league I wouldn't worry that he has suddenly become a liability. He's still the best asset to have unless his ownership drops like a stone. Just make sure you have a second captaincy option available too.Major re-think after the international break methinks. Captain Salah, Haaland, Trips, Nunez, Palmer and Neto all doing great for me today and I'm on 66.. No one playing tomorrow but Son & Udogie on Monday, Hopefully another 10+ points.
Terrific haul, nice one.I went safe and put the captains armband on Haaland instead of Salah and have woken up to a swathe of red arrows. Only 50 points but still have 5 players to play so hoping that will rescue my week.

Finished on 89 for the week.
Was worried when I ditched Harland, Mbuema, Longstaff and all of the scored.
Watkins did the business yesterday and is my capt, Son and Maddy weighed in.
Not sure what to do with Odegard and Martinelli. I have both but whenever I only have one, the other one scores…
Nice one. 89 points here too. Having Porro instead of Udogie paid off due to Udogie going off on 55 mins so missing out on the clean sheet points which has helped jump me up the rankingsWas worried when I ditched Harland, Mbuema, Longstaff and all of the scored.

Of course I had to change captain for the first time this season for the most in form striker in Watkins instead of Haaland as Luton should have been easy points.
Haaland with 2 goals and an assist so far and Watkins didn't do jack.
Similar here - i thought Salah at NFO would do better than Haaland at Utd..... Haaland with 2 goals and an assist so far and Watkins didn't do jack.
I've lost count of how many bad decisions I've made this week.
20 points with 2 to play. Absolute shocker!
27 points is the average score which is the lowest average score so far this season, by 17 points!
Just one of those weeks where you have to avoid hindsight management, not feel too gutted, and remind yourself that you made the right choices based on the data available, but that fundamentally you can't predict the future. And that football is a funny old game.
Onwards and (hopefully) upwards.

Injuries.
Injuries everywhere.
Same here. I only have three fit defenders as it stands. Big Dan Burn is out long term now. Matty Cash has a yellow icon for his shoulder so will be interesting to see if he plays in Europe this week. Maddison went off injured but was walking around at the end of the Spurs game and did half a lap to thank the crowd so I'm hoping he will be fit by Saturday. Haaland played 61 minutes last night so should get some minutes at the weekend too but I think I'm going to move the captains armband to Salah with Son as VC just to be safe.Injuries everywhere.
So my team looks bad but hopefully I just need to sort the defensive cover and the rest will be fine. I have 1.5m in the bank, which gives me 6.1 if I sell Burn so either need Schar if I want to keep some Newcastle defence, or maybe consider a second Palace defender. Fantasy Football Hub price change predictions say Burn is not likely to drop in price this week so I don't need to rush a decision.

Would I be mad to triple captain Son this week?
Its a gamble. On the positive side, at home, Wolves are 7th for XGc, 3rd in actual Gc and have not kept a clean sheet so far this season. Son is top for xG and goal involvements away from home and in 6 away games has scored 6 goals.
On the negative side, obviously Wolves are therefore over (under?) performing their XGc (ie. they've actually conceded more goals than average for the type of chances created against them so the law of averages says that will swing back the other way at some point). Spurs will be without Maddison and have a few other injuries so it's not clear who will come in and how effective the supply to Son will be.
Haaland and Salah are the top captaincy choices this week but if you have neither of those then Son is arguably the next best choice, but if it were me I would be saving the TC chip for a double game week in the second half of the season.

5 players played, ten points.
Sigh.
7 and 13. Sigh.
Haaland and Salah got identical scores so Salah captaincy was not the differentiator I was hoping for, but can't be disappointed with the score.
Hopefully the international break passes off without injuries.
