Colchester,my team,needed 1 point for safety.
Shorpe needed us to lose ,them to win and overturn 3 goal difference.
Colchester win ....LUCKILY.
I switch off "Final score" before the end.
Shorpe equalise against Swindon in 87th min...then score at 90+5 ...AND 90+7 .
You can't deny they gave it a go...

Was going to go to the final home game v Shrewsbury but recorded message said parking sold out
and don't know new ground area well enough to find alternative parking close by.
Let's hope for a better 13/14 season with no last day relegation issues...
Good grief today is dragging.
Can't make tonight as would struggle to get from Bristol to Sheffield in four hours on a Friday night but will be watching on telly tonight. Really hope we can stay in it, hopeful of a draw tonight then beat them at our place.
Not sure if there are any Blades on here but the fans seem so apathetic about their chances. The record in playoffs isn't great, admittedly, but we hae lost in the final the season we got there so there's nothing to be taken from that.
Still four hours thirty five minutes to go.....

Was gutted with how it turned out on Saturday, so near but yet so far from the title. Oh well, nothing really lost as we are still going up. Finally going to get a fourth stand at the south end of the ground, we'll need it to boost the attendances as 6000-7000 doesn't really cut it in the Championship.
Should be a fantastic experience for us, though In my heart of hearts I think we'll come straight back down. We have the quality to compete for a one-off game, but I'm not so sure week in, week out. I doubt many are looking forward to the visits of Leeds and Millwall, both of which have caused problems in the town in the past and will be interesting to play both Burnley and QPR given managerial histories.
Bit late to the party but hats off to EH and the boys. The two big runs the team went on was just incredible. Think we'll survive the first season in the Championship. Usually the second season when the wheels fall off. Also, there is also the lunacy that is EM so be prepared for some strange happenings at the club. It's in our DNA !Should be a fantastic experience for us, though In my heart of hearts I think we'll come straight back down. Yes , how did you guess !!!!
Bring on Monday only halftime , HP will be rocking !
Think I saw it mentioned by someone on Twitter.Bring on Monday only halftime , HP will be rocking !
Still in this big time, not seen a Yeovil side as physical as that for years. Had to be though to deal with Morgan and his tactics.
Looking forward to Monday, it's been a great season whatever happens.
So cometh the hour and cometh the team
If you believe, you just have to dream
Just don't be afraid or fret from the start
But think with your head and play with your heart
The prize is a big one, there is no doubt
How far can you go? One way to find out
Can you and your team mates really achieve?
Who knows, you just need to learn to believe
So when today comes and you come off the field
No energy left, no strength yet to yield
Make sure you gave all and you didn't give in
To the voices that told you there's nothing within
The head says you can and the heart will agree
Let's do this for you, and do it for me
Always keep going, don't give up the fight
And victory will be ours at the end of the night.

Sheff Utd fan.
Totally expecting the usual form of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once more.
I would imagine very poor odds at the bookies for the Blades not making the top 6, or even the top 2. I'll go for play offs before then slipping up.
If only they weren't so predictable.Totally expecting the usual form of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once more.

Getting rid of the manager when they did was cretinous even by Sheff Utd's standards.
Prediction for next season? Not even sure they'll make the play offs without a massive shake up at board level during the closed season.
Swindon look to be in with a chance of the regular "6th place go up"....

Isn't football such a wonderful game........LITTLE OLD YEOVIL....day out in London, just hope we turn up this time!
Nice to see you in the cheap seats today Mart
Ha ha my seats were sold so I thought I'd slum it in the terraces.Nice to see you in the cheap seats today Mart
Seriously though, what an atmosphere today. Never known Huish Park like it, that was awesome. Team played quite well and I think deserved it overall.
Boydie / THS - thanks for your kind words. Like Gary says, just hope we turn up this time.
Well managed to get my tickets today after they went on general sale this morning. Debit card took a hit of £285 on it....ouch!!
Getting excited now though as its only ten days away. I really believe we could actually do this, the club and the fans seem so much more positive about their chances this year as opposed to 2006/07.

James beattie gets the Accrington Stanley job!
not bad considering originally he was planning to stay 6 months before moving away!
ACCRINGTON Stanley have named James Beattie as their new manager.
The 35-year-old was brought to the club by former boss Leam Richardson in mid-November to boost the club’s ultimately successful fight for survival.
Having worked under Richardson in a player-coach role last season, the former Blackburn Rovers, Southampton, Everton and Stoke striker will take the reins.
Richardson left his first managerial role last month to become Paul Cook’s assistant at Chesterfield.
Beattie, who made 27 league and cup appearances for the Reds last season, scoring seven meaningful goals, is set to be unveiled to the media at a press conference at the Store First Stadium in the morning.
It is not yet clear whether the former England international will continue in a playing capacity.

Four adults plus two concessions. £52 each for adults, half that for the kids and the rest went on booking and transaction fees...
£52?! What the actual fk. I could understand pricing like this if the game would be a sell out what ever the price - but £52 for a League 1 play off final is just criminal.Half the price of a season ticket at Bayern Munich.
