Personally I think you're after the wrong Swansea winger anyway.

Looks like we may be after Walcott instead?

If he could learn to look up & stay injury free he'd be a great signing.

As we havent bought our usual player from Arsenal in this transfer window it could be on.

'Through the pain barrier' is not a phrase that exists in the Walcott lexicon.
'Ouch I had to exert myself just then, I need 3 weeks off' certainly is.
Please please give ussome of your filthy filthy lucre effendi- 15M ought to do it - may the light of a thousand camels backsides grace your days wink

Since Johnson has gone we don't have any natural wingers for when we need to change something during a game.
Ad you say he will be in bench for if we need to move back to back 4 & change tactIcs so can't see him starting.

He offers nothing more than Johnson (and they are both English). One great season for us in the Championship, one mediocre season in the Prem last season. But I guess he will be tripling his wages while playing less football.

£6.2m (rising to £8m) thank you very much!

This is how it feels to be City
This is how it feels to be small

Which tune are you singing that to, because if it's the Inspiral Carpets, only the first 2 lines scan.

Just saying like...

if he doesn't look like a knackered pub player after 60 mins, then that's a step on from johnson. he can beat his opponent for pace, johnson relied purely on trickery to beat his man. sinclair will be surrounded by toure (yaya of course!), kompany, aguero, 'new' tevez, possibly maicon, to name but a few. he seems like the kind of guy who will feed off their influence, rather than thinking he's the finished article and not trying.

Sinclair has talent, there is no doubt, and pace. But he is a one-trick pony at present and needs to progress and fulfil his potential - count how many times this season (if he plays much) he fails to take on his man, cuts inside and shoots. Never waits for the overlapping FB, never takes his man on on the outside.

Agree though that he should shine amongst such quality colleagues!

Agreed it is an excellent group. I imagine it will be very tight with all teams taking points off each other.

Reckon it may provoke some last day spending?
