I honestly thought we'd be in for a hard game today but it has been anything but. Everton top of the form league, Lukaku and Barkley supposedly bang in form but we have barely needed to get out of 2nd gear all game even with a few of our key players missing! Big 3 points this towards CL football next season.

Agreed. We've won this at a canter.

Can't really argue with that and should mean we finish above them.

Managed the game much better than usual after we went 3-1.

Still very disappointed with the way it's panned out, but when we are on it, we look excellent.

Very good win. Hope Mane is just a sprain.

They are one dirty team. Hopefully there is some action taken against some of their players, particularly Williams. Blatant stamp on Can.

The best attacking club vs the best premier league striker. It was always going to be an enthralling game. Only negatives were our defending from set pieces and Mane's ankle injury.

All our rivals will take points off each other, we're in a great position for top four.

Koeman loves a row doesn't he?

Full of st in his interview, but to be fair I would like it if I was a blue.

Shame about Sakho, the lad clearly can play, I thought he was a huge Miss end of last season. Him and matip could have been a solid combo at the back but I understand why Klopp decided his attitude wasn't for him

The irony of Utd fans moaning about sitting deep and not offering anything going forward.

They are happy to moan when the shoe is on the other foot- guess they forgot about their visit to Anfield!

Worthy winners today. Looking good. Need to build on it and dispatch Bournemouth on Wednesday.

When it's them doing it, it's clever tactics, intelligent use of a strategy designed to counter their oppositions strengths. When anybody does it to them it's "anti-football". Hypocrites of the highest order.

Better team won today. Our defensive injury problems handed you many oppertunities, which you took well.

Put in another good performance and therefore increased his sale price by another £1m.

In addition, Barkley. How does the dirty bd keep getting away with it?

Dunno. Players that lose the ball through bad touches tend to over compensate and commit bad tackles in desperation. And god knows he loses the ball a lot. He's had some good games lately but yesterday his bad side really came back. A early yellow would probably have been far better than 'letting a few early ones' go by the ref.
