I didn't get home till 1am last time. It's only 30 mins on the train from Euston but arrive at Euston at the 'wrong' time and you wait 45 minutes for a train at that time of night. Not going through all that again. The queuing for the tube at Wembley was ridiculous. I thought when they built the new stadium they'd promised to fix the transport issues.
Cant you get the mainline train into Euston or to MK? When i worked for Multiplex thats what we did at the end of the day
Sorry, either you don't understand my post or I don't understand yours smile

My route home from Wembley is tube to Euston Square, walk to Euston then main line train from Euston to MK. The alternative (which is a lot slower) is overground from Wembley to Watford junction and main line train to MK.

The problem I had last time was that by the time I'd got to Euston it was very late, and it was nearly 45 minutes wait for a train which stopped at MK.

Not possible if you're boozing but you could drive to say Amersham from MK in the morning and park there? Then after the game get the Met Line North to Amersham and drive to MK....should be about a 35 or 40 min drive at that time of night. And as this is PH there are some cracking roads going cross country to MK from the Amersham area. Amersham car park is £6 for the day I think.

Or you could get the Met Line to Amersham and get a cab to Berkhamsted on the MK line. Cab will be £15 I would think.

When you type that do you actually sing it in your head? Perhaps a fist pump to your monitor?

I think everyone is just nervous of jinxing it, I know I am. CL....CL...I still have to pinch myself sometimes. Just hope we can put it in the back of the net today, we'd have trouble scoring in a brothel at the moment! Will Kane be playing?

Don't they sing a song about walking through the rain & alone, Gene kelly done it in a film too.

Gerry & the bumboys or something sang it.

Copied from a Scottish team i believe.

How big a issue would it be to your new stadium if you did not make top 4 this year?

On my way down to London village now. Rude not to work from the hotel bar this afternoon. That makes it a business trip doesn't it? laugh

I've seen the memo that the club want everyone to turn the flashes on on their phones when the champions league theme is played tonight, and turn the stadium white. Should look good on the telly.
