Would definitely be a huge signing!

Hopefully we've got someone sanchez'esque lined up as well, I'd be disappointed if we weren't in for him, though if we were he'd have only turned us down for champions league I guess, our wages would have blown Arsenal out of the water. Hopefully the Di Maria/Cuadrado humours have some truth in them!
As much as I would love us to now sign Vidal, Di Maria, Hummels I suspect we will have to sacrifice quality somewhere, all the reports I have seen link us with varying quality players for similar positions

So MID Vidal, Carvalho, Perez, De Jong

DEF Hummels, Vermealen, Blind, De Vrij

ATT Di Maria, Cuadrado, Depay

If we get one player from each of those as well as our current signings we'll look very good

Thats true, looking online it seems De vrij may have gone for Lazio, which seems odd considering we have his national coach as manager. I've not seen anything else about Carvalho since his it was said of the fee that would be required.

I'm not believing any transfers about the Dutch squad at the moment as LvG said none of them were allowed to discuss transfers until after the WC, plus if we want any of them, he has had a good month in Brazil with them to tap them up biggrin

Some talk on the Caf that we could have been working quietly away on Transfers so that LvG can walk in on Monday and start announcing them smile

Would make my day, and also wouldn't surprise me given that Herrera came out of no where, albeit we had previous interest in him. I've also seen Reus is apparently furious with Barca, they basically ended our interest in him and now they've signed Suarez, they're not interested in him anymore so perhaps a move for him may be another possibility

There was the same speculation last year about Moyes and 1st July. I posted it here and despite saying "I'm hearing...." I became the target of the usual spuds mocking. Not sure is believe that. It is nice o see some quality through the door already.

Quite hard to follow with the translation, but the jist of it sounds good!
In the distance, while completing her involvement with the Clockwork Orange tulip technician hopes to receive his next club only good news, waiting for one in particular: to have in its ranks Arturo Vidal.

Excellent the chant of Argentina, Argentina, Argentina can reverberate around OT again and get the Brummies frothing at the mouth.

Do you guys rate Di Maria? He seems to have sparks of brilliance, but doesn't seem to be consistent with it?

So the scum have sold their best player to FC Barcelona.

Let's hope they have a miserable season beer

yes Massively, 18 assists last season in La Liga, in a front 3 with Mata and a.n.other all feeding into RvP we'd be tasty as fk

Personally very highly. He was immense for Real Madrid last season which makes these rumours hard to believe.

James Ducker has posted an article, I don't have access to the Times but this is the summary on the Caf

Summary:
Continue to monitor his situation
No contact with the club or the player
Reports that have emerged today are nonsense and we're just watching him for now
He's valued at £45m and contracted till 2018
We remain in the market for another midfielder, a center-half and versatile winger-cum-forward in the Di Maria mould
We're expected to sign another leftback as cover for Shaw (Rodriguez is an option)
Vidal continues to be heavily linked with us who are monitoring him too

Can't wait for LVG to take charge. Unveiled on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest I believe.

If any of these rumours come good could be a hell of week. I refuse to believe that Woodward hasn't got some more signings up his sleeve particularly when you see the business that is being done elsewhere.

As ever the worst bit is the waiting!

Van Gaal to start soon as our Manager, on the back of spanking Brazil in Brazil.

I'm really looking forward to next season yes

Same here. He makes me feel more confident then I ever did with Moyes as manager, and he's clearly got the mentality of a winner.
