Van Gaal to start soon as our Manager, on the back of spanking Brazil in Brazil.

I'm really looking forward to next season yes
Same here. He makes me feel more confident then I ever did with Moyes as manager, and he's clearly got the mentality of a winner.
And some of his substitutions suggest he is prepared to think outside of the box. I hate that phrase but it seems pretty apt to describe him. He is certainly less formulaic than Moyes.

What cheers me up us that he's taken a traditionally fractious team that regularly implodes and effectively took them all the way. Losing on penalties is irrelevant.

Can't even compare him to Moyes, he's got so much more passion... I can't wait until next season!

Changing the goaly in extra time sums him up!

I wonder if he will bring Robben? Always hated him playing against United but wouldn't mind him in the team; !

Nooooooooooo

Robben is a cheating, diving . No matter how good he actually is the guy can fk off. He's on the list of players who I would rather kill than see in a United shirt

That was my view up until the last two Holland matches, but wanting him to score because of wanting Van Gaal to win has changed my mind... He's awsome!

Always hated him though ha

I think we'll be saved that particular moral dilemma based on his age and how much Bayern would want for him

my thoughts exactly. There's no doubt Robben is a brilliant player, would've wanted to see his distance covered for the Costa Rica game I think it was. It seemed every few minutes he'd pick the ball up and make an 80 yrd run with the ball. But no, he's too old considering the amount we'd have to pay to get him.

Going back to the Di Maria rumours, a very good player, good record in La Liga considering he plays in the same team as Ronaldo but not sure if we need him. Thinking about it a new LW would be useful;he's a bit better than Ashley Young tongue out but the main area we still need to strengthen is CM and CB. I'm seeing lots of rumors for Vidal from Juventus for £35m, and while I hardly watch any Serie A, from what I've heard and seen that seems a very good price.

No idea on CB though, apparently Van Gaal wants to bring Vlaar and De Vriej with him, and as with any transfer window, Hummels would be amazing

£150m a year to sponsor or make our various kits. Now if Woodward could just perfect player recruitment we'll be laughing!

That's is an amazing deal...great work by the commercial guys.

I really can't figure out how Adidas make any money from this (or they were making absolute fortunes in other years). How much is a replica top?

United sell around 1.5 million shirts a year and the cost upto £75. With all the other merchandise there's plenty of money in it for Adidas.

Exactly. But it doesn't stop there. The Kudos will be massively financially rewarding.

I knew the 1.5 million figure, but thought a shirt was around £45 (show's how long since I've bothered buying one).

They really must be eating into their margins with deals like this.
