Best we've played this season?

Here's to hoping this is a sign of performances to come, but in the end it's just a draw.

What a game. Great performances all over the park, including in defense.

Where was that tempo in the 1st half of the season? You could hear how it raised the crowd.

100% agree with the first part, TV replays seemed to show he got most of the calls right, but you were at the game so I will defer to your view.

Dont think penalties count as a 'shot'

Nonsense, thought he was ok. It was a (needless) penalty. Apart from a Costa dive for a free kick and their keeper handballing it out the area (which was impossible to spot) he did very well I think

Think he's implying it will be a different game at Chelsea instead.

Never saw the full game, but saw parts of the second half. Obviously we played well, but against someone like Courtois when he's playing well you're normally going to need something special to get more than a goal. That said, hopefully Mignolet has game of the season against them next week, with us only getting one chance and winning 1-0, wink

Thats right and you had to make the most of tonight in order to maximise any chance you had as the underdog. Valiant effort no doubt about it but most neutrals will tell you that you realy had to take an advantage into the 2nd leg.

No disrespect intended. Tottenham won't win against this Chelsea team in a final at a neutral venue.

Ermmmm, you are forgetting you actually have to win your own game first before you start booking your trip to Wembley.

We should have just let AC Milan win at half time and not played the 2nd half back in 2005, going by ugofirst's POV.

But the way I see it we do take an advantage into that game. most/all neutrals ( and probably chelsea ) thought they would batter us tonight.

They didn't so it goes to next week them knowing they cant play for a draw ( 1 goal for us takes it to extra time etc ) so they have to try to win, and that leaves chance for us to hit them on the break.

It does but you're defence will come under intense pressure from Hazard, Costa and gang in the 2nd leg and their home record is formidable whilst your defence away isn't.

Good try tonight though. I REALLY wanted you to win.
