Apparently the £75m is less than 5% of Adidas overall football apparel business which is £2.7bn a year so they have a little spare cash. However is is only for the football and training kit. Meaning we can partner with someone else for the leisure wear side of things. Head guy at Adidas expects £1.5bn in revenue over the course of the deal.
Uniqlo are mentioned a lot for the leisure wear.

Yeah. The leaks/briefings seem to have stopped with LvG being the manager so it seems like a guessing game at the moment.

The big Kahuna would of course be the naming rights to OT - I wonder if they'll ever go there.....?

On the one have there's a certain cachet to NOT selling the naming rights but OTOH its a load of sentimental Old bks, the place will always be OT & if they could get a sizeable chunk of cash for doing it that got spent where it needs spending then why not?

Why do it now if they don't need to? We're in rude health financially, better to hold that one back for now rather than risk fan alienation when the dust seemingly is all but settled, maybe in a few years. It will always be OT to me.

It will always be OT to all of us but I wouldn't mind betting we start to see "rumours" about it over the next few years as they look to strengthen again & start to try & gauge opinion on the thing.

So what was the city deal? Was it £40m a year? So if the shirt deal is a barometer then we should be asking £200m!! I would welcome it but I think it's a few years off.

We've secured a kit deal that's worth as much as LFC with Spurs thrown in as a side dish.

You're going to have a much, much better season this time around, and (after Everton doing well last year under Martinez) will make David Moyes look like a clown.

Hour long Giggsy interview on MUTV just now.

Losing that man would've been a disaster. He is clearly right up for the new season and looking forward to LVGs arrival this week.

For the first time in 22 years someone else is going to walk out at OT in the number 11 shirt. Just a bit of pressure!!!
