I hate City with a passion - their antics over ground sharing etc have driven my 'other team' to near extinction whilst they're buying league titles.

(They refused to share the council house with Stockport and refused to enter into talks to let Stockport move into Maine Road when they vacated it. Now Stockport are right on the brink and fighting for survival whilst they're buying league titles to put in their rented stadium)
You hate City with a passion, well knock me down with a feather

IF they win it and it is still an if the money will have helped but we had an 8 point lead and fked it, they didn't do that

So if they win it then they should be politely congratulated and then we inwardly chuckle as they get all excited about their coming dominance, SAF rebuilds again we are only a few players off and we go at it again, its what we do and its why we live this club

But running around the forums crying about the supposed unfairness of it all is embarrassing and makes you and us by association look lacking in class

You've had a few chances in the first half, now if they had all gone in..

hehe I can't personally see it happening 1 or 2 maybe, we just have to win and perhaps loan QPR some players wink

I've never felt less for two goals scored before that I can remember

It's so frustrating from an 8 point lead it comes to this.

Who's this team playing in Red? Challenging for every ball, high tempo, accurate passing, all playing with real commitment. Where have they been all season? rolleyes

It's going to hurt if we end level on points and within 6 on goal difference given the OT (lack of) performance. It'd be nice to be within a few goals for the last match though just to make it a bit jittery all round.

There's no real chance of us doing anything other than finishing level, but stranded in 2nd place.

erm, yes there is. there is a chance you'll win it by 3 points, 1 point, finish level on points but lose on goal difference or lose by 1 or 3 points....heck, there's even a chance you'll win on goal difference (if very slim!)

you all seem like defeatists in here!

Or they all seem like realists.

Common sense now dictates that you should expect City to win the league from this point.

Whilst there is a chance there is hope, very slim but hope nonetheless

maybe so, but it ain't over 'til it's over.

common sense would have had you not ending up 4-4 if you were 2 goals up with 10 mins to go, but it didn't happen. anything can happen.

Thats fine and I understand the setiment but Citys home record is:

Played 18
Won 17
Drawn 1
Lost 0

Goals for 52
Against 10

...and they're playing QPR whos away record is as dismal as Citys is impressive.

So yes, there is hope (as Chelsea showed in Barcelona) but lets be honest, you won't be putting any hard cash on it will you.

You should be pleased, you ran the richest club in the world very very close.

Indeed, I suspect QPR will need to win or draw to stay up. "Sparky's revenge" is what we need now!

Don't worry. I have it on good authority that QPR managed a draw next week.

Speak for yourself, QPR will be going on my regular weekly 'no hope but if it comes off its incredible' 50p accumulator that will net me £10k+ if it comes off.

Everything points towards a Citeh victory next Sunday and title glory - but it ain't over yet - I remain a believer.
