As soon as Hart headed that more up than out, I thought Ibrahimovic would just go for it, and he didn't dissapoint did he?!!

Not a bad performance really, some good debuts & some nice play.

Shawcross needs to stick to Rugby at Stoke though...

Lmao wtf, pure class from Ibrahimovic, man is a world class striker and a legend. 4 goals on the opening night of the new stadium, doesn't get any better than that, not looking good for Woy, 2nd st game in a row

Not looking good? It is a friendly. Lots of subs, etc. I wouldn't worry. His first full time loss.

Roy is a uninspiring and unfortunately average manager.

Hopefully he can steer us to the next major tournament. Some exciting players coming through. Would really like to see them compete at the big tournaments.

Result (and that goal) apart, I thought England did OK there, someone in the management structure has finally noticed that basic skills and close control need sorting out and there were some good signs of progress in that dept.

Unbelievable class from Abrahimovic. I see the semblance of a young team coming through for us. Faith in the future I think & plenty to build on.

That was some performance from Ibra last night. 4th goal was one of the best I've seen in real time. The second was also a very good finish. Hart should'nt be beaten on the freekick. Hart had a poor game tonight.

I thought the rest of the team played ok, showed some good passing, control and movement. The team were heavily disrupted by the subs in the last 1/4 of the game, but there was something to build on.

Also posted in the City thread:-

OK, Joe Hart:-

Very poor last night, but what you have to remember is he is still learning his trade, he is VERY young in goalkeeping terms, and hopefully WILL learn from his mistakes....he will not reach his peak for another six years yet.

Same situation happened again, I'm sure he would head it towards the byeline out of danger.

He has saved us more times than he has cost us, that's for sure.....

Absolutely. It irritates me when people slag him off. He's far beyond most of the world's top keepers ability levels when they were his age. Goalkeeping is as much about experience as it is athleticism most of the time.
