When Kane gets the equaliser in injury time, given that we are now drawing against a team we should be thrashing, why is he running off celebrating? Why not grab the ball out of the net and run back to the centre spot. Still time to go for a winner.

This celebration of mediocrity is at the heart of the problems with the England national team. Going back to 1990 and an open top bus parade for the team for coming 4th in a world cup. Have the Germans ever done that?

Utterly disgraceful!
So when Chelsea's hundred million pound team are losing to a team from the lower reaches of the EPL (put together for less than 1/10th of that) and then get a late equaliser they don't/shouldn't celebrate?

How rum.
The 2 situations aren't really comparable, because when you are serial winners, you get cut a bit more slack for occasional disappointing results. So OK, we only got a draw against Bournemouth, but we have a chance to redeem ourselves next week at Man City. England are in the opposite camp, serial losers against better and worse opposition.

Black can man said:
Surely this must be Harts last game for England.
Given that even Torino don't want him, and it would seem not many other clubs do either, Southgate has to drop him in favour of someone else...........

Bet he won't though......

Young Woodman did well in the under-20 World Cup. He's Southgate's godson. Add 2 + 2............

Hart didn't position himself very well for the first free kick.
Didn't learn for the second either, Fraser Forster is a better keeper in my opinion.

Is "Don't look back in Anger" the new national anthem?

Hadn't realised this one was on normal TV, assumed it'd be Sky/BT.

I'd put the radio on but it's always slightly out of synch with the TV.

Hoddle's crap as a pundit/commentator, don't know why they cling onto him.

Harsh red card from the replay I have seen.

I must admit I am a fan of the video referee being implemented in football.

Very harsh, especially in a friendly.

Game on.

Stones isn't really great is he?

Sterling lacks that decisive killer instinct.

I could have seen England sneaking a lucky goal and then Southgate calling it a great victory.

I'm rather happy to see a 10 man France beating England as they have been the better team and making an effort to win.

It doesn't really matter if you have 10 men when you've got Kante in midfield does it...

Playground defending by England, lost count of the number of times they didn't just give the ball away, but gave it away straight to French player in a dangerous position. Shocking.
