I like Stambouli he reminds me a little of carrick! that said he's only starting at the moment because bentalab is away.
Where did we get him? How old is he and how much did he cost?
I thought Bentaleb was a little out of favour nowadays?

He's 24 and French, we bought him in the summer for £4m from Montpellier.

Bentaleb was first choice with mason before he went to the African nations.

I think Stambouli is really starting to play well. Has had some shaky moments, but wins the ball and moves it on.

I think he'll still be the back-up option when Bentaleb is back though.

I think the summer will be interesting as MoPo will be able to move on a few more of these players that are just hanging around.

I think he's still looking at another winger type and probably 2 strikers.

My biggest worry is hanging on to Loris.

Didn't Arsenal sign somebody for £42.5m at the same time as we signed Eriksen for £11m?

Can't seem to recall his name.

Dembele is the most frustrating player i've seen at spurs for years.

He seems to have the lot & then just fails badly.

He was impressive last night.

Shame we have the impressive chelsea in the final. Is there any chance that the Stampy man could be suspended for the final ?

Kyle Walker's understudy, DeAndre Yedlin, had a 'mare for the USA national team last night it's been reported.

They lost 3-2 to Chile and Yedlin's defensive performance has been slaughtered.

Whilst he looked the biz going forward he was so out of position for 2 of Chile's 3 goals that he was mistaken for a programme seller.

One critic said he'd be a cert for the World Ball Watchers eleven.

Kyle has that shirt for quite some time to come it seems.

I love watching the Demebele play. He just glides around the pitch, riding and spinning tackles. However, there is never any end product, ever.

No assists, no goals. Nada. Think he scored on his debut and that was it. All the coaches were telling him he'd be the next one off to Madrid, so impressive was he in training.

Regardless of ability, there are some players who are always able to exert an influence on a game and others that just can't. Maybe it's mental thing or an attitude.

Convert him to a winger, sell for a massive profit and then spend all that on dross so that you struggle to beat a team from League 1 over 2 legs?
