Would you really rather not win the cup and get rid of RM and hire a mediocre replacement (probably Moyes) for another mediocre season?

I don't really know what I want, but I can't help feeling that we have our most talented squad since the 1980's yet we seem incapable of putting a winning sequence of games together. I'd love to win the cup and if we do I will give RM the credit, but our league form will mean that we will probably lose some of our best talent, which will be a blow. It may sound obvious, but I think Bobby can prepare a team for a cup game, but I don't seem him having the talent to build a campaign, in the style of a Mourinho, Moyes or a Ranieri (what an appointment that was). I don't think he would ever take us down, but this season has found him out, we have run out of ideas and steam.

That's exactly what I wanted to say, but just couldn't get the words right....

I disagree, he's more than capable of taking us down.

We'll be lucky to hold on to both Lukaku and Barkley this summer, certainly Lukaku will go. I wonder how we'll get on with Kone leading the line.

I am just fed up, but being on Miami beach is easing the pain.

At least earlier in the season we were scoring goals and carving teams open, yesterday we had 1 shot on target.

Every cloud has a silver lining and all that, the way we are playing cant see any top teams wanting any of our so called top players, they are looking very ordinary.

Rom is defo on his way out cannot see us keeping him, and do we want Stones he has no interest in the club now. Big money bid for Ross from Manure and that's it, back to square one

The latest attack on Baines and The Echo by RM is ridiculous, from where I stand it looks like the pressure is growing on him, as said before, the next few games are crucial and given the obvious discontent I can't see results improving. I hope we get shot of him before the season end and line up a big name manager (don't ask me who) who may just be able to keep our best talent on board, surely we now have the resources to attract a 'name'. One thing is for certain, if Martinez stays then our best young talent will go. Moshiri is rumoured to be taking full control in the summer and if he knows his stuff (which he does) keeping the playing staff together is number one priority.

Bournemouth are above us.
West Brom are above us.

Let that sink in. West Brom who play horrific, anti football, have gained more points that us so far this season.

I'm sure he can Hilly, but we are only a couple of weeks away from a semi-final and in all likelihood Bill will be stepping aside in the summer. If we win the cup then I can see us sticking with Martinez for one more season, if not I think he will be gone.
