I heard that this is the worst start to a season in Liverpool's premier league history.
BR out? It clearly isn't working. Just look at your bench against Arsenal FFS
Was it Downing you bought on to change things up?
Not sure who said it before, but they were right, you should leave this trolling malarkey to those Spuds cos you're st at it.BR out? It clearly isn't working. Just look at your bench against Arsenal FFS

I actually thought it was quite a poor article too. Very little grounding in reality, much like those who have seemed to enjoy the article.
Scuse me? There were other clubs (both in the EPL and elsewhere) who didn't fk about & went about their transfer business & got their deals done weeks & months before the deadline. The accusations being levelled in that article are hardly far fetched. The end result at Anfield was a result of ridiculous dithering. I also can't for the life of me see how £1M plus or minus would have made the slightest difference to FSG in the short term if the manager wanted to spend it. In the medium term, not spending it might cost them an arm & a leg. It was idiotic.

But the inference in that article likened FSG to Roman; going about buying whoever they liked and not taking a blind bit of notice to Rodgers. The truth is that they were more than willing to pay for a striker, but give the events of the past they now have a strict ceiling on what they'll pay for an older player, but more money is available for a younger player.
Do I agree with this policy? Not in every situation, but I still maintain that I hope this is a blessing in disguise and allows our long awaited youth to flourish.

For a club like Liverpool to be dithering over a million quid is just daft given the scale of the business.
Liverpool's youth may well flourish, but is Liverpool's youth setup & squad materially better than anyone elses? Doubtful. Ergo in the medium-long term the chances of Liverpool competing for the league or even for ECL places (which are worth millions as we know) without also mixing it up in the transfer market would seem somewhat limited.
