I want us to win the cup and I know you do too mate, even if it meant one more season of Roberto. Press reports this morning suggest we are looking at other managers, this is the first time anything has appeared about a replacement and I think it's significant. His spat with Baines may well be his undoing, a player who is better regarded than any other at the club (and someone who I would like to think could one day manage us) should be listened to, not attacked.

I just cannot bear to listen to his post match talks anymore its excuse after excuse, just fkin sick of him now. He continues with this obsession of playing it out from the back I like to see good football but how many times do we lose it putting pressure straight back at our defenders. We fkin aint Barca and do not get me started on how many goals we have conceded from free kicks and corners high in the box, our centre backs need to put themselves about and be first to the ball.

Poor game tonight but I thought we were a little better than of late. Despite the negativity I fancy our chances against Manure, prefer them to West Ham as I still have nightmares about losing to them at Elland Road in the semi over 30 years ago, one of the most intimidating atmospheres I've experienced at a game!

I know Bobby has lost the majority of fans, but let's get behind the team for the cup. COYB

So we drag ourselves up to 40 points alongside West Brom and Swansea. Really didn't expect this from what I saw up to end of November.

If we go out of the cup then it will have been another transition season in which our main achievement will have been to showcase our best players for subsequent sale: Lukakau back to Chelsea, Stones to someone and Man U might buy Barkley. Really I think we have to try to keep everyone including Stones who I am sure will turn out to be really good and bring in more goal scoring options and coach/find/promote a decent centre-back. We need someone like Shawcross who is happy to just defend that we can put alongside Stones.

I get the impression that RM is a bit like Wenger and doesn't really prioritise defending and ideally would put out a team of 10 inside forwards and a sweeper goalie.

Yes he is a bit like Wenger excuse after excuse blame everybody else but himself. The sooner he is gone the better. I agree a Shawcross kind of player who gets to the ball first and gets stuck in, and also when danger is lurking, boot the fking thing in to row Z don't fk about trying to look pretty.

Get shot of Stones, we don't need a young kid that thinks he's better than he is at centre back. Bring in another experienced 30+ year old to partner Jags.

Lukaku is sadly going, best to try and get the best deal out of it.

This should gives us ~£70m to bring in new players and a manager that knows what he's doing.

Well that's another draw, they score straight after we had took the lead. I do not know how much more I can take. We could not hold a dogs lead

This is what the 2016/17 season will look like without Ross and Lukaku, getting taught a lesson by the mighty Southampton!

I wonder what the season tickets holders are saying.

From my seat it looked like he set us up to get the draw and 40 points, to be fair we were missing a few today but it was woeful in the main. The days of defending Martinez on the basis that we play good football are gone, he is trying to get results now and the team look bang average, no real cohesion and some of the players look lost. Major disappointment this season and apparently the worst home record in our ENTIRE history, with possibly the best squad of players since the 1980's, come on Bill, you know it makes sense.

Coming to a club like us would be a massive gamble for Mourinho, he has built his reputation and would be mad to risk it at Everton and I just can't see it happening. That said, we need a manager who will keep our top talent and I don't think the likes of Barkley and Lukaku would stick around because of Martinez. Pellegrini anyone?
