Wasn't bad,the way they play means it was always going to be hard work,Chelsea had to settle for a 0-0 a few years back.
At least we had mobility in midfield,Evra was woeful ,has been for 4 years ,fletcher looked off the pace Understandably ,at least we passed to each other and managed to retain possession for periods.
Hernandez was pretty anonymous would like to have seen kagawa with Rooney and rvp,

Really? You can sometimes come out with statements that I'll agree with, but what do you expect from the lad given what he's coming back from!!?? Fletcher did well, against a poor team.
Cleverley covered acres, would be interested to know the stats on him.
digikal, you do talk rubbish at times.

Fletcher and Anderson are not good enough to be Manchester United midfielders as they stand right now. Evra is no longer United standard and nor is Ferdinand.
I always fear Anderson when he plays for united, I have to agree about Ferdinand though he looked terribly slow against Bale but i suppose he will not face express pace like that week in week out, but it will give other prem managers food for thought, Seems if you can get at yourselves with pace utd will struggle. Vidic is a huge blow & it's just unfortunate that Smalling & Jones are injured,
Who do fancy will take over the Scholes role when he finally calls it a day ?

Anderson has all the ability in the world, in his first season he was top quality, dominated both Gerrard (when he was actually good) and Fabregas. These days he is just too fat to do anything decent. Every now and again he puts in a great performance, but we are United we need players putting it in week in week out.Who do fancy will take over the Scholes role when he finally calls it a day ?
Scholes is irreplaceable really, the best English player of the past 40 years. We couldnt afford to buy someone of his ability and there isnt anyone coming through the youth. Money aside I actually cant think of anyone off the top of my head who we could buy that could replace his ability at his peak. Maybe someone like Ozil would have been an option.
The problem is we should have brought in a replacement 3-4 seasons ago to bed him in ready. These days there seems to be no cohesion in our transfer policy, as if its just buy a load of attacking players and hope they fit, whilst ignoring the midfield every season.
