Let's hope so.
I'm in for a pair of seriously expensive tickets for the semi. Not been for 26 years. (Oldham)

For the supposed quality of their players (apart from Lukaku, he's proven he's the real deal) they were just embarrassing tonight. I'd say Martinez has been well and trully found out (I could never understand how a relegated manager got so many plaudits) and that Utd should stroll through that game, although who knows what LVG will tell your lot to do on the day? You're 2 points off 3rd, not a bad season I'd say.

That sounds nuts when you consider some of the rubbish we have been playing this year.,pretty damning on City and Arsenal to not be out of sight of us right now, really. Pressure on the the Gooners tomorrow now, still they are mentally strong, isn't that right Arsene.

Still, if you can't be great, be lucky. smile

I agree completely. Utd might just steal 3rd, although I doubt it given that we cannot put together a run.

If we do, I would go further: City and Arsenal should hang their heads in shame. Utd have been appalling.

Possibly but we're nearly out of time/games to do that.

City play Arsenal yet so it is in United's hands. We'll f*** it up though.

Spurs fans will certainly be chuffed that you're still in the race for a Champions League spot, it gives you something to play for against Leicester whilst still harassing Arsenal.

How on earth are we so close to third? I find it quite funny actually. Awful for City and Arsenal though!!

I really hope we beat Leicester when we play them. I see no reason why we can't win our remaining games (inc FA Cup), but whatever the outcome we need a serious refresh in the summer. It would help big time if we scrape 4th as we should be able to lure in better players.

Everton are absolutely terrible, it will be an embarrassment to this club if we do not win the FA Cup!Like someone said earlier I really do no understand why Martinez got any plaudits from his time at Wigan. I always thought they looked awful and just hit a bit of form one season which gave them confidence for the next couple.

It's absolutely amazing that we could still get fourth and it's in our own hands.

So undeserved.

It'd be hilarious if City didn't make it with Pep coming in.

Complete snoozefest at OT last night. Shocking atmosphere and game. Considering we still actually have things to play for I hoped for much better. So many empty seats and an almost silent Stretford End. Palace were awful, we were slightly less awful. At 2-0 up we should have played with confidence and gone for the jugular.

We have scored 3 more goals this season in the EPL than Sunderland who are in the relegation zone.

"LVG" in full effect.

st yeah. Arsenal play City, so one of them is going to drop points! That's even more hilarious. What would make this season is us to pip 4th and City come 5th and lose in the CL.

This makes beating Leicester all the more important.

Can I ask,has anyone seen John stones have a good game ? I've maybe seen Everton 4 or 5 times this season and every game he has been st.
There are better center halves out there .

I think last season he looked good in games but very raw. I dont think Martinez has helped him develop and at the moment looks very out of form, and shot of confidence.

That's what comes from having your arse handed to you repeatedly by Liverpool's attack.

Stones looks terrible every time I watch Everton. He seems to have some obsession with running out with the ball. He loses the ball so much it's just shocking that Martinez has not addressed the situation. Someone needs to show him a video of Atletico Madrid defending and say: 'sometimes John, kicking the ball as far away from your goal as possible is the best option you have'.

He's let the plaudits get to his head, he needs to find the form that got him those plaudits, plus he's still very inexperienced.

Just relooked at the table and I don't think it is in out own hands yet frown.
