I don't think we'll win the league, but we are absolutely not the team we were even a year ago.
Having spent £190m on Rice and Havertz last summer you would kind of hope that would be the case. leglessAlex said:

I think there's a high likelihood of all 3 dropping points, especially if all 3 stay in Europe until at least the semi-finals.
And o another note, how was that a penalty today against Lamptey when he touched the ball first, but the Doku boot in the chest against Mac Allister when we played City wasn't based on the same rule?
You guys got absolutely done on that Doku/no penalty call. I'm not sure ours was a penalty either. And o another note, how was that a penalty today against Lamptey when he touched the ball first, but the Doku boot in the chest against Mac Allister when we played City wasn't based on the same rule?
I feel like PGMOL are telling themselves "if everyone is upset with us, we must be being even handed and fair" whereas actually everyone is upset with them because they're bloody awful and inconsistent.
It's rare that pundits all agree but from all the post match analysis I've seen, everyone has universally agreed that it was a penalty as he barely made contact with the ball before taking out the player.
Even Roberto de Zerbi said it was a penalty. Not that his opinion is conclusive but says a lot that he agreed with the decision.

I think we are going to win one of the comps we are in. Went to the Newcastle match and was very impressed and they have carried it on-rarely bet but I put £300 at 10/3 to win PL the next morning. The transformation in the team this team is immense and that back four is just shutting teams out.
The other two teams are conceding chances, and goals, it's going to happen, they are going to drop points.
Another thing that makes me believe, and a lot of this is luck, but the injuries and the timing of players recovering has been key, very strong squad.
I think Partey might have a major say in the run in.

Liverpool won’t win all of their games
I didn’t expect me to be correct quite so soon……….Crazy game. Utd were diabolical but did enough. Just. Liverpool very wasteful.
If we can continue as we have, we could do it. It's in our hands now and only hope we can maintain our consistency for these final games.

Who would have thought Rice AND Havertz would end up being absolute bargains!
Havertz form has improved certainly, but I think describing him as a bargain after paying £75m for him is a it of a stretch.Mac Allister for £35m, now there's a bargain.

Arsenal:
Man Utd and Spurs away
City:
Brighton and Spurs away
Liverpool:
Everton, West Ham and Villa away
So would say City too
IF we get past Bayern the CL semi’s are 30th April and 7th May…which are Tuesday’s I assume one semi is on the Wednesday though.
I guess that means the Spurs game might get played on the Saturday and not the Sunday.
Spurs have a 15 day break before the Arsenal game because there game against City has been postponed.
Navigating that is going to be a huge issue.
We also don’t want the Spurs v City game to be played at a time if god forbid Spurs already have fourth place sewn up…….

We definitely have a harder run in - well it appears that way at least
From the BBC
Opta now make Manchester City the title favourites with a 40% chance despite being third.
Liverpool are next on 31% with Arsenal, the leaders, given a 29% chance.
We were 18% last week
Yeah and 7% the week before. From the BBC

Trying not to get my hopes up quite honestly. Most of my mates want us to win it, but they're mostly United fans so ...

So would say City too
Advantage for us is that we play Spuds first......(depending on City tbc date) and if Spuds are still in a fight for CL spot after we play them, that makes Liverpool and City games ever more important for them.......and tougher for scousers and City.
I think out last but one game being Utd could be our banana skin though
I would agree our two as per post being Spuds and Utd away
City will be Spuds away as well
Liverpool will be Villa away (plus Spuds at home if Spuds need the points for CL quali and we've beaten them the week before )
Hmm Everton deducted another 2 points in the random punishment generator
Still no date for Spud v Citeh match...
Spuds have 15 days rest after Saturday before playing us in the league, whilst we have 4 games in that period
Anyway Chumps league tomorrow looking forwards to the music...and the er light "show" which I'm sure is one of the ball persons cones switching the lights on and off COYG!!!

The club have been saying they will ban anyone who sells tickets to "Bayern" fans, might not be a football fan they're selling their ticket too...
This week's Champions League quarter-final first-leg fixtures have been threatened by terrorist group Islamic State (ISIS) with a graphic poster that emerged on social media on Monday. Arsenal and Manchester City are among the eight heavyweights in action at the business end of UEFA's premier competition.

Given links to Saudis I'd have thought PSG and Citeh are safe
