st yeah. Arsenal play City, so one of them is going to drop points! That's even more hilarious. What would make this season is us to pip 4th and City come 5th and lose in the CL.

This makes beating Leicester all the more important.
Just relooked at the table and I don't think it is in out own hands yet frown.
Ah yes, am I right in forgetting that Arsenal still have a game in hand which would take them 4 clear of us, so a City victory would mean we could still win all of our games and come 5th? Damn.

If city and arse draw, we could be out on goal difference.

Anybody hope we miss out on ECL to help ensure LVG get's sacked and we have an all out assault on the Premier League title next year?

I miss the big nights too much. But we'll get mullered anyway, so I don't know... I'll take anything for improvement. frown

I think he will be gone anyway. And being in the CL will attract better players.

Can I ask,has anyone seen John stones have a good game ? I've maybe seen Everton 4 or 5 times this season and every game he has been st.
There are better center halves out there .
He has a good ten minutes in games, where he's first to the ball in the box and clears a few. But he has let all this transfer speculation/how good he is etc make him not stick to the basics. He thinks he is Bobby Moore ffs!

Mourinho and the fact it's Man United would bring that attraction....no?

We signed Di Maria and Mata when we were out of the ECL.

Saying all that if we miss out on ECL we're likely to qualify for Europa League so the point of taking a break from Europe to keep players fresh for the premier league wouldn't really happen.

If a draw suits both sides, I will bet my house on a draw.

No; money and CL football with a chance of actually winning it is the pull.

West Ham away and Leicester at home will be tricky fixtures. If we win all 4 then we have a chance, but other than the City game Arsenal's run in is piss and City seem to have hit a bit of form (Newcastle game aside).

I think our chances of top 4 are slim.

You say these games are a piece of piss - Palace got a draw at Arsenal. I presume they were fired up for a it a bit more than they were against you last night though - being a London derby etc.

NO game is a gimme in the Prem now. (Especially now Villa have been relegated)

Underlined to stress the point; this run in is not going to go smoothly.

Pulis has a habit of getting one over Arsenal as well doesn't he? I haven't checked but it always feels that way.

Games will be pretty easy from here on in, I expect. Few teams have anything to play for now, and everyone is quite tired.

Utd will still manage to lose 1 or 2 games, but I would expect Arsenal to get maximum points apart from against City.

Tickets in hand for tomorrow! Can't wait even though we may get an LVG bore fest.
Anyone else on here going?
