Needed a win after the Spuds game. Raise confidence levels.

Read a few reports saying arsenal have made a £7m bid for Petr Cech.
I really can't see why Jose would let Cech go to a prem league club.

I'm not sure Petr would want to go there either, plus after the Frank situation i'm not sure it would be sanctioned either.

Re the Frank Lampard issue.

Dislike the situation but have love and respect for the man and player too.

I seem to remember reading in Nov when the papers were all lining him up to move, but he stated he was staying that he had 2 years left on a contract.

We still Have Mark Schwarzer albeit on a one year contract and Jamel Blackman a good youth/U21 player on the books as well.

Scratch that I forgot Jamel Blackman is at Middlesbrough on Loan. That leaves us light should he go.

Doubt Cech will go anywhere, especially as Schwarzer is off to Leicester...

Might be time up for Shurlle though? Can barely get in the side and is pretty poor when he does.

You might almost say it's Shurlle-y time for a transfer

Yeah I was thinking the same. He comes across as a likeable guy. Wouldn't be surprised if we sell him, especially if we go after Marco Reus.

Leicester fan in peace here.

Any of you guys know any more about the Kramaric deal? Seems to be that you guys can't offer him a position in the team for this season and potentially next and that may be our bargaining hand. If the sky report was correct then he has had a medical last night or supposed to have one at our place today but is still in talks with your club about a potential move. We have had a few Rijeka fans on our forums saying that our offer and wage etc was much better but the lure of chelsea by his agent was turning his head.

Would love to see him at the king power and not milling around at vitesse as a wasted talent. Any info would be grand smile

cheers guys.

Some rumblings in Spain over the future of Messi. A lot of the first team are not happy with Enrique apparently and if whispers are to be believed Messi wants out.

Barca being banned from signing anyone until jan 2016 may well be a stumbling block. Intresting times lay ahead I think ... As a football fan I'd love for you or City to snap him up. Realistically it's only you two who'd be able to afford him in the Prem. Wonder what the knock on effects of FFP would be in that scenario?

I know that last summer when chelsea were touted it come down to Adidas, they wanted to see Messi in an Adidas shirt as they are his main sponsor and were willing to front quite a bit of cash to Chelsea to help the purchase. No idea how true any of that is. I am pretty scptical about how he would fair in the Prem, he is an excellent player but it would be a hefty flow if he fails.

If anyone has a few minutes to spare and wants a good laugh, have a look at Gavin Peacock's twitter account. Seems he's gone absolutely mental since giving up footy and finding god.

Sad really, some great memories of him playing for us. Scoring both goals in our two 1-0 league wins over Man Utd in 93/94, and his wonderful diving header in a pre season tournament at Tottenham.

Utd could also afford him and will be sponsored by Adidas soon.

However it is of course unutterable bks that he will leave, I suspect Enrique will be the one to go

Well that's more definitive than a signature on a contract! Surprised he isn't looking for houses around London already.
