Whilst easy to look on at Borini and be angered he's done what all players do and that's what's right for them - whether its money or career. This ones different in some respects as he has a contract and appears to be honouring it. Much more palatable than those who sign new contracts and then leave 5 minutes later...

You do realise that signing a new contract and leaving '5 minutes later' is also in the interest of the club allowing them to get a much higher fee?

Would it be possible to get a ticket in Madrid on the day, even if you had to go incognito and sit with the home fans?
Last away game I went to like this was Barca. When the stadium emptied there were large pockets of Liverpool fans all over the stadium. You'll be fine, just make sure its not a fake.

Luckily for Borini, Sterling is still under 21 so does not feature in this years confirmed PL squad:

Pffft. What does he know? The keyboard mashers know far better than a highly paid team of elite professionals.

In other words Chris Davies owes our Bren everything and takes every opportunity to blow smoke up his arse - this type of "added value" back room paper junky does my head in. His 10 page analysis of man City didn't show that they would take us apart down our left at will when a blind man in a coal mine could see it. Harumph

The irony isn't lost but this creation of an "entourage" (sp) is bks - did Shankly need it? its all bluff and bluster to powerpoint the players to death and this guy has swallowed the book of bullst - sorry its my pet hate. To see it in action look at Giggs face when United are getting stuffed by QPR next week and his dossier is bog paper in the changing room. biggrin

Perhaps a wiki link might help here.

They might not have had laptops, but the principle is exactly the same. It's just elite level individuals doing stuff at the very top level of sport. Stuff that goons like us on the internet don't appreciate or understand.

Because make no mistake, if we had the required level of expertise and knowledge we'd all be doing it ourselves, instead of people like CIE who sit in his bed wking over pics of Cantona on his bedroom ceiling yes

Already told you that I don't have enough pocket money. I'm still using my sticker books from the 90s, they really do stick.

In fitness and muscle ability management I agree however if these "elites" were really elite would we ever set up badly? would GJ ever play again? is JA excluded from analysis.

I appreciate we have to have these guys but please don't credit them with an ability that cant be replicated by many.

You do appreciate that at the elite level of sport, everyone is doing it. Sometimes you will have the edge, sometimes the other team will have the edge. Football is a chaotic sport, it's not like rugby or cricket or baseball which are far more structured. Analysis like this helps with small percentages all over the pitch, which can contribute to slightly tilting the odds in your favour.

You might want to check BR's win percentage stats and ask yourself if he and team around him are doing a good job, compared to percentages through the history of the game.

Were doing well, its a good time to be a Red and BR is on a roll - no argument on that I just dislike the hangers on but if they make BR tick then so be it.

The bit about BR not changing etc etc apart from his teeth, missus and body shape then ;D
