I'm not sure I would stick Ibra in the 'work hard for the team, press high' bucket of players. Might as well bring Mario back.
Yeah suppose you are right - but can we agree on one thing lets not compare Marios ability to Ibras

Definitely not. He's not about high energy pressing, but he has a brilliant touch, he can keep the ball and he is willing to play passes and not hog the ball. Plus he is capable of scoring more than his fair share of goals. 11 in 10 matches for a very poor Swedish side in the recent qualifiers meaning that it isn't just against weak opposition in the French league that he's doing it.

He made Agger look like an idiot a few times last night.

As L424 says, it's not that Lavezzi is more talented than Ibra, clearly not, but I don't think Ibra would suit our team at all. Where as I think Lavezzi would. Just.

Look, I think he's a good player but pointing out he's scored a few for Sweden when he scored 7 of those 11 against Moldova, Lichenstein and Montenegro is pushing it a bit hehe

Just bring back Mario ! simple really.

Klopp doesn't strike me as wanting a big time Charlie like Ibra is, He would be a huge gamble with the wages he'd want.

You should just try & bring in, buy & play some young hungry players like those elegant white shirted dashers from north London. That's the way forward .

You weren't supposed to highlight the teams he scored against hehe

His link up play is superb though, I wouldn't want to be facing him, Sturridge and Coutinho in the same game.

Perfect club for Zlatan would be Chelsea.
3 attacking midfielders behind him who do all the defensive work. Let Ibra score the goals, bring them into play.
He's a brilliant player but don't think hid character would suit out dressin room. Our team hardly has any alpha males and he'd be lost/ would either rub them up the wrong way or change them for the best. The former more than the latter imo.
I've always thought Mario tries to act like Ibra without the talent.

Aguero fit for tomorrow's game but Kompany and Silva ruled out.

Kompany being out is bigger news than Aguero being fit. Aguero won't be fully match fit after being out for 6 weeks. Sterling will be up for this one though.

Not sure Aguero really takes that long to get back to full fitness. I guess it also depends on how long he's been back to full training.

Aguero has ever failed to score against Liverpool at the Etihad in the premiership . It's going to be a tough day for your boys tomorrow afternoon

Indeed, theres usually IKT line ups , formations , injury updates & general Klopp onanism .

Mind you City away is a tough one for anybody let alone mid table fodder.
