Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but:

Is getting this Kane lad on a 5-year deal @ £45k/week looking the bargain of the century?
And will Levy just sell him on if he finishes the season with 40 goals+?
I don't think Kane will be going anywhere for a while yet...but yes it's good he's not getting silly money.

One of the benefits of bringing through the youth.

So, 10 games to go...how many points do we think are needed for top 4?

I think it's going to need 24 of 30.

We will have to go unbeaten for the rest of the season for fourth. I expect manyoo to drop like a stone with the gooners and the bindippers 3rd and 4th.

Dropped points against the hamsters was the killer.

In the end yes But we didn't turn up that day, you have to be beating a hamsters side in poor form at home if you want top 4.

Just found this article...if that isn't the sort of false hope to get behind I don't know what is!

Doomed.

I want 7th or lower.

I want zero chance of playing Europa Cup next season.

You can fk off the FA and Milk Cup too.

So essentially you want us to have virtually zero chance of winning anything then?

What's different to any other season?

No, not silly money at all.... He earns more in two weeks at his tender age than I do in a whole year and I only got a 'pro' contract when my training finished at 35yrs old.... But that's football for you... Crazy world.

This is football we are talking about. Just look up north with Liverpool. Raheem wants 100k+ a week...so getting Kane on 45 is a credit to him and the club.

As I said, crazy world. Clubs in huge debt, true fans priced out of the game, agents making millions, most clubs not winning anything or even providing decent entertainment....

No different to many entertainment professions though.

Actors, musicians etc...make fortunes and turn out dross on a regular basis. Quite a few make footballer wages seem like pocket change.

The Swansea game had no atmosphere. Are tickets that bad at WHL?

I was planning on coming to watch Spurs this year but fk that noise, they are coming to see me in May. They have a game against Sydney FC in an 80,000 seater stadium. Should be good fun.

was at the Swansea game...... was hoping for a cup parade, maybe that was why, too many hopes shattered... but, it was very quite first half, even after chadli scored..... can't knock south lower, but the Paxton end couldn't even muster a loud we are the Paxton in the second half.....

older fans become more reserved I guess, and a lot of fans are too well, dare I say posh to shout... they like to stand and clap though!!

but do note WHL is one of the best grounds in the prem for noise etc...... as expectation has crept up with increasing success, I think anxiety has crept into the mentality of fans.....

but not his agent, wonder if his terms will be enhanced if he has a second season like this, reckon another club would gladly offer 100k/week
