The Official Tottenham Hotspur Thread [Vol 7]
Discussion
Yesterday totally encapsulated everything about Chelsea that people find so despicable; from Jose's press conference, right through to the histrionics at the end of the match.
You could understand somewhat if they were a Burnley or a Leicester, trying to punch above their weight and compete against teams with far bigger budgets - you'd expect them to try every trick in the book to try and get the result, as there is no way that they can assemble a team with the quality of players to perform at the highest level.
When you practically have an open cheque-book to sign the biggest and best in the world and yet still behave as if you are Wimbledon circa 1986, it just strikes me as bizarre. I guess it's a window into Jose's mind - he must ultimately be responsible for what happens on the pitch with his team. I wonder what Roman made of it all from the stands? All seems a bit deja vu.

Hopefully its
'Spank a Manc' day today
A massive test of character today; they are eminently beatable but can your lot adopt the correct mental attitude to say 'we are better than utd'. 'Spank a Manc' day today
I'm getting all my tasks out the way nice and early to settle down for this one, it should be a ripper!
Would be nice to make it 3 on the spin up there. It's going to be tough but i feel we should get something as they look terribly frightened & nervous at home.
I think they are there for the taking & it's probably a good time to play them.
Lets hope Mark Clattenburg shows some minerals like Michael Oliver did on Monday.

That's our best 11, love how we seem to be able t keep them fit.
Agreed. Even if Townsend annoys the st out of me he gets at people and he offers something no one else in our squad does (two things if you include gifting Premier League footballs to fans in the nosebleeds).Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
