Class from the Chelsea ground staff there, shame about their players.

What did the ground staff do?
Or you mean the effort they went through to give out all the free plastic flags?

Congratulating Luiz on the win.

And I take it back, he was magnanimous.

Yesterday totally encapsulated everything about Chelsea that people find so despicable; from Jose's press conference, right through to the histrionics at the end of the match.

You could understand somewhat if they were a Burnley or a Leicester, trying to punch above their weight and compete against teams with far bigger budgets - you'd expect them to try every trick in the book to try and get the result, as there is no way that they can assemble a team with the quality of players to perform at the highest level.

When you practically have an open cheque-book to sign the biggest and best in the world and yet still behave as if you are Wimbledon circa 1986, it just strikes me as bizarre. I guess it's a window into Jose's mind - he must ultimately be responsible for what happens on the pitch with his team. I wonder what Roman made of it all from the stands? All seems a bit deja vu.

Just the compo to be sorted now, so i guess the foundations should start going in in around 3 to 4 years time.

Can we now just get on with this bloody stadium, seems to have been dragging on longer than I care to remember. The next pissing contest is where we go to be tenants, that will be another decision that will please at most 33% of our fans.

A massive test of character today; they are eminently beatable but can your lot adopt the correct mental attitude to say 'we are better than utd'.

I'm getting all my tasks out the way nice and early to settle down for this one, it should be a ripper!

Would be nice to make it 3 on the spin up there. It's going to be tough but i feel we should get something as they look terribly frightened & nervous at home.

I think they are there for the taking & it's probably a good time to play them.

Lets hope Mark Clattenburg shows some minerals like Michael Oliver did on Monday.

No reason why you can't make it three in a row. HUGE pressure on them...clearly some very unhappy players in their squad and Rooney and De Gea apart nobody playing to anything like their potential.

Agreed. Even if Townsend annoys the st out of me he gets at people and he offers something no one else in our squad does (two things if you include gifting Premier League footballs to fans in the nosebleeds).

In Betfair's coffers again

I've had a £10.00 double with Everton.
