Some great comments on Shreeves on Twitter tonight... much of a muchness, along the same theme.

Cannot believe you missed the game. That was a Titanic performance. Terry aside, the other 12 or 13 who all played their part were immense. As a neutral, I have a sort of euphoric feeling similar to Istanbul and United in 99 and England beating the Argies 1-0 with the Beckham penalty. Its just one of those nights when you're proud to be supporting British teams...I agree completely with what you've said about RDM. He has really grown into the job and surely has to be first choice. Only Jose can stop him getting the job, massive BUT though, but if RDM gets the job, he HAS to be given time to rebuild and do the job that needs doing...

I was so convinced that Barca would win, I didn't want to watch (and had to attend my leaving do, organised by my colleagues so would have been a bit rude.....)
It must be the defensive performance of the year for sure, to beat this Barca side and get to the final, on top of this generally disastrous season. I am almost speechless. Sad to see that Terry/Ivan/Ramires/Meireles will be banned for the final. I guess they'll have to see who's available and work with it. Ironically it could be an outing for some of the squad players!

Incredible game from Chelsea tonight. Backs to the wall from the off but well disciplined by RdM and everyone played their part - well, 10 of them did - JT just keeps being a cock.
I was more worried when Chelsea were defending further up the field giving Sanchez and others more space to run into behind them - when they were camped on the edge of the six-yard box Barca never looked like they would score. Yes, side to side, back and forth etc, all very good and pretty but it doesn't score you a goal. No decisive passes possible when your opponents defend as deep but they did what they had to do ad good luck in the final whoever you play.

I didn't watch or listen to the game, went out for dinner with some work colleagues on a leaving do, and heard about the result from a mate. I simply can't believe it. I would like to watch the game and highlights but they don't seem to be on terrestrial tv and I've now cancelled Sky.

Reality check here.... If anyone other than an English side had played with the Chelsea tactics over 2 legs, we'd be slating them.
Well done to Chelsea for having the audacity to play like Stoke City in a European semi, it's a great result, but it was bloody awful and cynical stuff out there tonight.
