An in other news, our cunning plan by Allerdici to find a way into Europe by topping the fair play league this season has been dealt a quite possibly fatal blow by Ama getting sent off.

Apparently David Sullivan was accosted by some numskull West Ham supporters outside the ground. No matter how bad the performance that's just disgraceful.

There's a couple of clips floating about. Haven't bothered to watch then though. Always some dheads about though, pity but s are s.

Suppose we have at least one major fk up each season, hopefully today's covered it.

Not looking forward to spuds next week though.

Sad news that the three people who died on the M1 were west ham fans en route to WBA , apparently they'll be a one minute applause on three minutes at spurs away.

Puts it into perspective a bit we're all moaning about the result and three people who left to watch a match yesterday morning never returned.

Rest in peace

Found out that the 3 young lads (2 passed on, 1 in hospital) are from my town, I wasn't born here so didn't know them but they are well known my colleagues at work. such a shame.

There was loads about this on Twitter yesterday.

Can't see anything happening until the end of the season though wink

Also appears Club's looking at Nene (sp) as a short term cover deal - I know nothing about him but his stats are decent & he can keep Carlton company on the bench.

Hmmm, tricky one with BFS.

As for Nene, I see he was joint top scorer for one season a few years ago. I also remember Michael Ricketts having a good season for Bolton...

I agree it's an over reaction. But I guess it depends what the ambitions of the board are and whether or not they believe BFS can deliver this. With his contract up in the summer, they have a very important and big decision to make; stick or twist?

This no news story happens every time BFS is within 8 years of his contract running out.
Whatever you think of him, it would be utter madness to ditch him one season from the Olympic stadium.

I may be going out on a limb here but what the heck! Allardyce got us promoted from the Championship at the first time, something I don't believe we have ever done before (it has usually taken two seasons). He has consolidated our position in the Premier League and we look on course for a top 10 finish this year. By and large the players that have come in while he's been manager have been better than those under previous management. We never used to get players like Song, Carroll, Jenkinson and Creswell at UP we had to make do with Dowie, Wanchope and Margas. So, I think Allaydyce should be given the opportunity to walk the team out at the Olympic Stadium in 2017. However I agree he's never clicked with the fans and some of his team selections baffle people. Ultimately I guess he's not fashionable and fans want fashionable managers these days, someone who's got a continental name and has played in the Champions league. I see Moyes in the same light as Allardyce. The West Ham fans have always had a love affair with Slavan Bilic even though he was actually only at the club for just over a year, anyone would think he grew up watching the Hammers with his dad on The North Bank - perhaps he did and I'm missing the point. Yes he'd be a good manager, he was combative, in the style of Billy Bonds, and perhaps that's what people see? So, I would be happy with a top 10 finish this year and next and Allardyce to have a 1 year extension to include opening the season at The OS. Then I'd be happy to see a new younger manager arrive. Arranging all that will be difficult but then I run a software company not a football club. I'm sure the Lady Karren will sort it out! biggrin

I agree w/ this Rich. Can't see what Moyes would bring that we don't already have. The Cup loss was very poor but at least it was to a team in the same division for a change.

Owners should have invested again in defensive playing staff at Xmas & not cocked about w/ trying to sign anyone from spuds IMO.

It's DS v DG/KB again though & one of them holds more sway than the others.

I'd never thought of it that way. I naturally assumed that DS was close to KB as she worked for him in the early years. Why do you see a fissure in the relationship?
