didn't take the piss, never said you were deluded - I asked a genuine question. You've got a real attitude problem, it's meant to be a game and generally the football sections of P'Heads are where supporters exchange a bit of banter and ask serious questions about clubs other than their own- if you want an argument get along to General Gassing. I don't have a view on whether or not it was a penalty but agree it did look soft. That said the fact that it was in the 94th min is irrelevant. That's what I was asking. I'll not trouble you again. ![wavey](/inc/images/wavey.gif)
I was replying to Brabus and twig, who respectively called me deluded and took the p. ![wavey](/inc/images/wavey.gif)
I do have an attitude problem when i feel wronged or frustrated, and trust me, being a palace fan at the moment is a challenge. That said, I don't normally have any problem with banter and I've finally got over Sunday and starting to feel a bit sheepish about losing it quite so publicly.
Love PH, love banter, apologies to anybody offended by my ranting, I've been a bit silly. Grown up mode again now.

Different game, different officials, different circumstances. Palace fans hugely aggrieved when Benteke went down at the culmination of a dreadful run of bad results, perceived injustices and bad luck. Surprise surprise other fans are unsympathetic. We moved on after much trauma on the part of Palace fans and much hilarity from everybody else. ![rofl](/inc/images/rofl.gif)
Then we finally get a smidge of luck when the ref sees Bolasie being impeded and although he goes down like a sack of spuds we actually get a pen and he doesn't get booked. Praise be. Palace fans now happy, everybody else accuses us of double standards.
If you simply compare the actual penalties (and the opinions of the 'experts') then you have to say that in the current climate it's no surprise that both were given. However the circumstances that lead up to these games was entirely different. But the reactions of everybody are understandable, so personally I'm just moving on and I'll put it down to karma.
Also, it's a bit of a first to have non-Palace fans coming on here to have a pop, but that's a reflection of our current status I guess, so we have to live with that too (for the time being, until we're back in the championship).

t was a weakend squad and clearly focusing on the game a t Wembley on Sunday. Next season is another story, summer transfer window will tell all.
Totally agree. Last night's game meant nothing. I'm surprised Cabaye and Zaha played and it was a predictably poor performance, as was Everton's and (dare I say) Watford's.Sunday is going to be very close, I guess one team will turn up on the day. extra time very likely IMHO.
The summer transfer market is crucial as Palace need to clear out some of the players who just aren't making any impact and replace them with upgrades. I just hope our scouting system is good enough to compete with those clubs who we consider our peers these days. And I hope Bright*n don't get promoted...
...I was, for many years, before dropping out and 'retiring' to France. No chance of getting any points! But I'll see what I can do as yesterday was the first major game I've missed in many years. I also went to all the other FA cup semis plus numerous away games, supported Palace since 1967, but sadly that all counts for nowt these days ![frown](/inc/images/frown.gif)

Let's get September done, see where we are with transfers and the first few results, then it'll be decision time. If we don't have some decent points in the bag after some of these supposedly 'easier' games then Pardew will be under pressure. Very frustrating window so far, and Saturday was not good.
