Goes like a train, but sounds like a massive case of the mental as well, which isn't untypical in females that way inclined.
I think that's a little unfair on the woman, if she hadn't been treated so publicly appallingly then this story would not be in the news. She doesn't seem the kiss & tell kind but i suppose everyone has their breaking point & pride,
I have to say that it's great fun for us neutrals watching in from the outside.

You know what annoys me about this Dr thing, no one is jumping up and down about the physio who has been treated the same. Because shes a woman there's a fking up roar!
I can't think of a worse place to have a hot super hot member of staff, whether that's sexist or just practical I don't know.GarryDK said:

Wasn't the physio back on the bench the week after though? Also pretty sure Maureens comments were aimed solely at her?Black can man said:

Whatever it costs Chelsea, it may well be worth it.

If it does turn out she was having some sort of affiar then it's not exactly doing much to promote women in sport
Why women and not men?!GarryDK said:

The difference is she can go down the sexual discrimination route and he can't. Constructive dismissal is a max £70k payout...if you're first team physio at Chelsea that's a lot of money but maybe not enough to ruin your career. She has sued the club for constructive dismissal but is apparently also about to sue TSO for sexual discrimination (which importantly is not capped like constructive dismissal)....under UK law you have personal liability. So not only might we see Mourinho in the dock but he stands to lose a significant amount of money if she wins the case...plus costs! If anyone else has been daft enough to send an e-mail saying "Dr Eva gets it" or "Oscar's banged Eva" then they might cop it too as well as the club.
Having had the pleasure of working in an industry where this ste is rife I've had too much experience of this from both sides of the fence! Luckily for me I used the same law firm as she's using, they're the best in the business at this stuff.

His handling of the whole saga has been sorry to say the least. A little humility sometimes goes a very long way, something he has abjectly failed to understand in recent weeks, hence his feeble attempts at deflecting criticism from woeful team performances onto poor referee decisions , the press, in fact anyone but him. As I said before, he has history and it's just repeating itself. Once he feels hard done by in any way shape or form he turns.
I'm a Chelsea supporter and hate the way he is dragging the whole club down. What surprises me is that no one senior in the club has seen fit to remind him of how poor his behaviour has been. I've never seen Mourinho as a long term appointment anyway - do any fans really want to see year on year of the sort of football he has the team playing ? All this tracking back stuff just means we concede possession and become a counter attacking team - even at home.

And the fact that this Eva thing has got so far garnered so much press attention is solely down to him and no-one else. He should have bked Hazard for acting like a fairy, not the good Dr for doing what any club doctor would have done.
The other thing you can't over emphasise is how much the Dr Eva thing is going to be distracting him....he's now going to have to spend a significant amount of time with his lawyers defending the action. It's just not something you can delegate. With the exception of anything he's discussed with his lawyers if he's written texts, e-mails anything at all about her on his personal or work e-mails/texts it's all got to be defended. So, catching up with the bans for Maureen.
As I understand it, he was given a suspended 1 match touchline ban, and then a stadium ban. I understand he is appealing the touchline ban. But if that appeal fails, is it the case that the suspended part will automatically be activated as he subsequently got the stadium ban?
At least he doesn't have to travel to that sthole Stoke. Maybe he should have a nice weekend off to relax and get a better attitude.

To be honest, with the Eva thing, I don't think either Eva or Jose really come out of it looking particularly good. At the end of the day, two of the medical staff went onto the field of play and got shouted at by the manager in the heat of the moment. He mentioned this in the presser afterwards (after being asked), probably thinking that would be the end of that - he only mentioned the fact that they went on the pitch, nothing about the abuse he got back from Eva).
Fair play, her and Jon were only doing their jobs, and Jose was wrong to have a go, however I suspect there is a lot more to it than we've heard so far - whether Jose was generally frustrated with his medical team (Costa's hamstrings? The state the players came back from the summer break in? Eva's extra-cirricular activities?) or there is some other explanation
At that point I don't think there was any prospect of further action (and to be honest, no one really cared at that point), until she posted on Facebook (fairly innocuous I grant, but still against the club's social media policy), then it got leaked out that she wouldn't be on the bench for the next game.
Then the professional agitators got involved (Heather Rabatts I'm looking in your direction here), then somebody clearly had a word in her ear that she could get some compensation out of it and we ended up where we are today.
The initial incident was all on Jose, however everything since can be firmly laid at Eva's door. The other physio involved has just go this head down and got on with it, whereas Eva has gone down a route that means no top level club is going to want to touch her now (witness that she is likely to end up at Charlton). It wouldn't surprise me also if she's set women in football back 10 years with what's gone on since - as a lot of clubs will now be apprehensive about employing women.
Much like an awful lot that's gone on at the club this season it's been blown out of all proportion by the media, and has probably been a factor in Jose's spikiness when talking to them.
In better news, good to see Fabregas has come out to firmly deny rumours of any disharmony in the camp.
