Discussion
Just posted this on another forum but seriously, the penalty was ridiculous but we completely fall apart afterwards. I hate saying this because as you all know, I really, really hate the kneejerk reaction of sacking managers but WTF would you do if you were in charge? Where DOES the buck stop?

Before the game, your manager said you were going to press high, play fast and close City down. I saw very little of that. Have the players stopped listening to him?

Until the pen we has done exactly that, and it was working well. After that , our effort levels dropped through the floorWhat happened next was unforgivable. I can put up with a £500 million team playing us off the park, but to see a team 4 nil up still working harder and closing down more than my team getting stuffed was unacceptable.

could your new ground be having a Spursy Wembley effect?
Bloody Hell, a spud with a heart ! !!could your new ground be having a Spursy Wembley effect?
Every game feels like an away game, for the fans and no doubt the players.....but ...that doesn't account for the disgusting lack of effort, the heads dropping as soon as we concede, the clueless naive tactics or the crap transfer dealings.
Can't believe I changed my flights until tomorrow so I could go and watch that. One of Bilic's main plus points, to me anyway, was that he is a motivator but that went out the window after the first goal. We seem to be going backwards at an alarming rate, and I'm not sure who is to blame.

I really can't understand this. They've been playing there for 1/2 a season now. The place is kitted out in claret & blue and as a player it must be a million times better to arrive at than Upton Park. There's a swanky car park, posh dressing rooms etc. etc. And... despite what some like to say, usually for the first 20 mins there's a great atmosphere and it is noisy. then of course we ship a few goals, eads go down and people go quiet. It really is up to the players to give the crowd something to get excited about. But while ground is totally different I can't see how it would have such a dramatic effect on the players. ETA on another forum some chap, who is Croat, said this is a repeat pattern with sides Bilic has managed. First season it's all rock & roll and the team plays really well, second season he seems too easy going, motivation drops off, third season he leaves. Dont know how true that is.

At what point do you start questioning the manager?, you watch him interviewed and he doest seem to have a clue why this keeps happening.
You simply cant afford to go down. Rivalry aside im starting to feel for west ham fans.
I've questioned it from the start.. Last season was a wave of emotion and despite decisions not going our way , we also winged it a few times. West Ham Guy/ Nice guy etc etc doesn't cut it ... We should be bottom of the PL ... Burnley and hull both played us off the park and we won both with soft pens,Liverpool gave us two gifts and web played swans when they were on the floor .... That was our four match 10 point unbeaten run.You simply cant afford to go down. Rivalry aside im starting to feel for west ham fans.

West ham don't owe him anything imo.
The Bilic love in has always baffled me to be honest. I guess it's because he's personable and also because for some reason people think we are a "family club" even though we've been in the top two leagues for decades, so they make emotional associations even though they're just not true. Pissed off today, could have been skiing and instead I'm off to the pub to watch Man U v Reading. If this keeps up, I will not be renewing next season. And even though I've said that several times, I actually mean it this time.
