You haven't got any toes! Can you wear flip flops?

Enjoy the game BCM? Great advert for the beautiful game don't you think?
I did, amazing to see that Suarez didn't dive and that also the pundits thought he should have been awarded a penalty.

I bet some on here are feeling pretty silly right now after their earlier scathing comments.

I was sat just behind the goal when Kompany fouled Suarez. It was a blatant penalty. Skrtel continues to worry me and the highlights just reaffirmed that he's a penalty waiting to happen.

I hope we have the energy to take 3 points at Norwich. Henderson will be a miss. Also no news yet on Sturridge.

Felt a tweak in his hamstring, no news on him yet. Hopefully just a precaution.

Skrtel is playing really well imo (apart from when defending corners) his goals have helped massively this season.

No doubt about his goals Glen but every game which passes by without a pen conceded feels like a miracle! We've been talking about it since before Christmas.

We're very lucky with Skrtel that he's so far scored more goals than he's been to blame for. Let's hope that doesn't balance out by the end of the season!

What are people's thoughts on Sakho today?

Sakho was very good apart from the penalty and one or two wayward passes.

Skrtel I think is having a great season. It is the shirt pulling on corners that make me worry with him. Rodgers will analyse the game, why hasn't he told him to cut it out?
Flanagan dozed off a couple of times today. Has happened in other games too. Probably the only negative for him. Needs to track players off the ball.
Coutinho played brilliant. Especially not giving Nasri much time on the ball smile
Sad to see Hendo miss 3 games and let's hope Sturridge will be fit. Every game is a cup final now so let's hope he is ok or at the worst only one game.

Suarez was tripped by DM without doubt and so he should just fall in a heap, no roll around with his arm in the air. From memory he tried that in the first minute or two but soon got up quick when LPool regained the ball quickly,

Such a shame he's known more for the Oscar performances of late more than anythjng else ...

Good though he is, Sturridge is still pretty selfish when attacking ... At least twice he could have played Suarez in but choose not to ...

He had a lot to prove today to a team that thought he wasnt good enough but possibly the occasion was too much for him, I hope he came off because of this and is actually ok - he will be back to his deadly best for Norwich.

I didn't see the full game, but in my mind all season those two have really, really worked for each other. I think he just showed a bit of inexperience yesterday and the pressure of it all got a bit 'wooahhh there' with him. Desperate to score to prove a point. Playing like a beast and creating goals for Suarez would be just as impressive in my mind. He's still been bloody brilliant this year though.

Really, really hope he isn't out for long and it was just a light knock or something. I can't see Hendo going down to 1 match. I can totally see why he did that tackle, again, pressure on our position.

I thought Gerrard showed his class at the end, this clearly means everything to him.

I have to say, the last 4-5-6 games I don't think the SaS partnership has been firing on all cylinders. I think Suarez started going after the record goals tally in a season and he's just not been on it lately. That seems to have translated into Sturridge being a bit more selfish too. SaS have now failed to score in just two games all season, but those two games have been the last two games we've played!
