Funnily enough I enjoyed the game,no VAR at any time, the tetchiness between Madison and Pac, some mad five minute spells, some clever football at times, plenty of passion and a draw probably fair.
Absolutely agree on coming out though, seemed worse than ever getting to the station, prob because most stayed to the end.
Worse bit was the bloody half time music again.

At least you didn’t have to get a cab to Waterloo, then a train, and then another cab laugh only just hanging my waterproofs up in the utility room now (albeit after cracking open a can after I got home) biggrin
I got in @ circa 00:15, contemplated a large scotch but thought better of it biggrin

Disappointing game, dreadful finishing (both sides) & Moyes no-sub idiocy again when players were cleared fked.

Stupid late KO, depressing shuffle in the rain to Stratford to be meet by a ste train service = cab back from Shenfield.

I found it frustrating and think that there was a win to be had - although it was pretty clear from 70+ that we were happy with the point.

Stupid mistake to allow them a goal early on, Fabianski's poor distribution, JWP's continued search for a goal from a FK, Ant's dreadful finishing (although appreciate that might've been called back for a foul on Maddison in the initial release), yet again no body giving Son an early slap, Soucek's determination to play his clearances to a spuds player, Kudus' not releasing the ball sooner & turning into trouble, etc etc.

Some positives though, thought Zouma was very good & Bowen's corner deliveries excellent; Kudus workrate again, reasonable from the crowd & agree that Paq vs Mad was entertaining - that bloke's a tosser of the highest order.

Not my bag but don't mind the DJ music, we'd had some Maiden during the lightshow pre-match, which always makes me happy. Fireworks were a bit much though.

Well football certainly provides different views ! I thought Soucek was outstanding, positioning throughout was spot on,and (for him) I thought he was decent on the ball laugh Fabs distribution wasn’t helped by Zoumas constant brain farts in constantly passing it back to him on his left side, and so fab needed a touch out of his feet first. Second half he hit a drilled one right into Ant and a couple over the left back for Bowen late on. Not sure why at the end he held on to the ball when we could have broke though ?

Funny old game!

Re. the end, suspect it was simply caution.

The spuds break @ the death reminded me of when we lost that game at Upton Park vs. them (Tevez year & his first goal). It was 3-3 & we were pushing for the win from a corner (having been 2-0 up, FFS). Possession lost & paul fking staliteri bangs the bd winner in.

It was - March 2007. Noble & Tevez had put us 2-0 up, Tevez into the crowd.

Spuds scored twice before Zamora put us 3-2 up in the 85th min.

We lost the game and picked up six yellow cards, plus there was a collectors piece as Nigel Quashie started the game for WH.

The Great Escape followed... TEVEZ!

Nope - Mullins must've been injured as he didn't feature at all (and wasn't on the bench).

The sub was from our revolving pot of ste strikers/forwards: Kepa Blanco, who's most notable for (via Wiki): "On his debut for the Hammers he netted in the 77th minute after only being on for 70 seconds with his first touch of the game against Liverpool." (we lost 2-1, obvs).

At least nobody could accuse us of being glory hunters back then, years of supporting West Ham AND Scotland being my national team has really started to pay dividends over the last few years biggrin

hehe surprisingly he wasn't a Sully special - he co-bought the Club in 2007, so no idea who's bright idea it was to sign him.

Well, didn`t see any of the Spuds game.

Fell asleep in the bath before it kicked off and woke up freezing cold after it had finished.

Well played me.
