My Bugeye wagon wrx 'shed'
Discussion
So, one year on and the old girl just passed the mot with one advisory. A tyre i abused on one of the sprint days!
So costs:
I had her serviced earlier this year with oils recommended by Opie oils, (Fuchs Titan) including diff and gearbox (castrol stuff) which added about £300. I also had a full 3d geo, and it really transformed the car from being very numb, to having 'some' steering feel.
At the same time I fitted new front discs and pads (Pagid rs4-2's) which are excellent.
Mpg is constant at mid to high 20's but I've recently fitted the £150 O2 probe which should keep it running sweet.
The car still needs some bodywork tlc, but I'm very pleased with how it's run considering its value and miles.
It burns no oil or water, and it's never let me down.
Milage is now 135k ish.

Yeah seems that way!
Car seemed to still remain hesitant to boost fully, and ran quite poorley with the a/c running (yes it works!)
I had a live diagnostic done on the car whilst I was driving it, which showed the sensor very slow to react which in turn adjusted the timing/boost etc.
it was a 3rd party item, not the denso one, and it runs much better now which the approved item in place.
I've just bought an obd2 wifi dongle which, with an app shows the car running 12psi (0.8 bar) which is about right I think?
Certainly feels very healthy for 212bhp.
