I dont mind the small ones on classics but those ones on the newer imprezas do look just wrong, just a wrong, awkward shape.

A 2001 WRX ('Y') which the first owner spent a small fortune (enough that he could have had a STi).

286.10 bhp (rolling road print out from a few years ago, Prodrive seats (as per photo), front upper and lower and rear strut braces, 18" Rota alloys and TEIN springs/shocks and a few other bits and bobs I can't remember).

I have owned 6 Imprezas on and off between 1999 and 2012, but this is my first "Bugeye".

Drives superbly - pulls strongly with smooth power delivery and sounds great:

Pretty sure they are standard seats with a prodrive logo ironed on.

Lots of car for the money right there. Very nice.

A dealer in Bristol who had taken it in as a part ex and I turned up and dropped the cash on his desk and said "take it or leave it".

Car has 8 previous owners (but full service history) and some of the paint work needs sorting.

Great find. I really like that. I think Rota make some really nice wheels.

One of those 'lucky' cars.

All the hard work (money) had been spent by someone else and the Bugeye is least popular model.

I would love a clean GC8 Type R.

That looks amazing Black bug eye! Also good to see the PH sticker on display!

What mods other than the FMIC are you running?

Yikes, thats how to do it!

I don't personally know Simon but from his posting online and others enthusiasm for him he seems like a top chap.

Have you done any sprints in it? And is it a car you use on the road or is it built for a specific purpose?

Yes its been built for using on the road and i take part in the 22b sprint series which takes place along side the MLR sprint series.
The car currently has all the factory interia but will more than likely have some or all the factory stuff removed over the next year.
