Well, I’ve pulled the trigger, fisted the kumquat, resisted the frozen sausage metaphor, and ordered a Touring spec Subaru Solterra in red.

3 to 6 months wait, no discount (obvs) and after what seems like an eternity of flirting with buying a BEV I’ve gone and done it.

Anyone else?

Not all cars on long-lead time shocker.

Car is arriving at the dealer shortly, and I'm picking it up on 22/12! I do hope the wife likes it.

With the cold weather been averaging 2.8 miles/kW, but when the temp has been over 10C, it picks up to 3.1-3.4 miles/kW. Best I have seen is a 3.6 over a 30 mile journey.... I'm sure which 2 of the 5 I will have in my eightys and the Solterra will be one of them.
Similar here for consumption with one notable exception. If the car is left on charge and driven away with a full battery then 4 miles per kWh seems achievable pretty doable in 10/11 degrees - I think that's due to the battery being kept warm (pre-conditioned) when on charge. Not had to return to the dealer yet, cross fingers.

Car is actually the wife's but since we got ours in Dec I have hardly driven my i8 - I think it will be a keeper.
