Squealng brakes
Discussion
Never had this problem before and I've done brakes more times than I care to remember. Anyway, new pads and discs on my Wife's A-Class, all Pagid stuff. Copper grease on the backs of all the pads. As soon as they get warm they squeal really loudly, it's embarrassing. All I can think to do is pull all the pads out and re grease. Any other suggestions?
Everything's new. Discs and pads. 4 Pagid discs. Front Pagid pads and rear ATE pads. New shims too. I don't want to spend £45 on set of Merc pads if it's something I've over looked. If that's the only option then I'll put my hand in my pocket.
My Dad suggested taking it for a burn and giving the brakes a good hammering might help...
