Ben Hope - all read

Jack Reacher - all read
Elvis Cole - all read
Skinner - all read
Oz Blackstone - all read
Harry Bosch - all read.
Tim Weaver - all read.

Trying Billy Bob Holland....
If you like Reacher/Ben Hope books try Mark Dawson's John Milton stories. Very enjoyable I thought.
And if you like the John Milton series, Victor the assassin books by Tom Wood are a must.

Shame you didn't like BBH - out of the list above I would say James Lee Burke is the more accomplished writer - maybe try his Detective Dave Robicheaux series. "Heartwood" is an excellent BBH book too.

I might try another day - I thought the first book was a little too cowboy/western in style. Detective Robby Chops sounds interesting....

I find it irritating that Amazon permits a book to be called

Nomad: The most explosive thriller you'll read all year

rather than its objective name

What? "Alan: The most explosive thriller you'll read all year"?

I'm currently reading the Paul Richter books by James Barrington. Military / espionage type thrillers but the main character is very good. You should like these if you like Reacher type books / characters.

Overkill
Pandemic
Foxbat
Timebomb.

Really good and really cheap on Kindle.
Enjoying the first of these, thanks for the tip.
