Can somebody explain to me in words of one syllable what happens at a RR day?

Does the car spend half an hour on the limiter or is it just a case of the dyno operator accelerating hard in one gear a couple of times? If so, what gear (don't like using full boost in 1st/2nd with my swiss cheese gearbox

The car is given two to three runs to where the engine stops generating max power.

We generally use third or fourth.. It depends on the car really.

Yes I would be up for this but dependant on weather as no roof and I don't fancy being a U boat commander!

If you need a firm booking then ignore this but if you can pencil me in or put me on the reserve list should some one drop out and weather is ok then that would be great.

Cheers
Mark

nicecupoftea: you're less likely to damage your gearbox in first or second because there's less mechanical resistance!

Ooooh I'd be up for this, assuming I'll have my system decatted by then & a fuel pressure reg too. It'd be an interesting comparison with my Data logger....

Can't make that date sadly.

Re choice of gears - T16S gearbox not the best ever and lower gears are especially vulnerable - don't really like to use full boost before 3rd.
