Rumours of it's thirstiness are greatly exaggerated.. on the way back from Prestwick (300 mile journey) I averaged 15-20mpg - which included some spirited bursts.

He did'nt it was purchased in the States and is a personal import. The thing with GT's in this country is that we are only getting 100 or so official cars and Ford are being picky about who gets them.
