But now I have seen your car in your profile I must also let you know that my LC is a 4.0 Diesel so I may still be slower!
Managed to get 150KPH going down hill though! Not bad considering it weighed more than 3.5 tons! Had a lot of gear on it, a lot more than on the pics posted here. I had it weighed just to find out how heavy it was.
And that 150KPH was legal too.
Pah, that's nothing! The 88" is a Diesel too, but only 2.25 litre, boosting angry 58hp with 98kph inscribed speed in the documents - I maxed it with an overdrive though, enabling speeds up to 120kph

Nice pictures of yours though

Here's a blast from the past, my old Alpina B9 exiting the Karussell at the Nurburgring. Unfortunately the background has been cropped.

A VERY cool and unusual BMW!

Thanks mungo, it's a Burkard Bovensiepen special! Why Oh Why did I sell it?

Will have to raid the photo album for the scenery shot and scan and upload to fotango without broadband so may be some time but here is something I did earlier.

by the time i get round to getting some 'arty' pics of the Cav up here this thread will be long forgotten about... damn!

Canon Photoloft (or whatever it was called) seems to be no more, so i can't use any of the pics i did have up... plus its changed a bit since then anyway... grr...

either way, there's been some amazing pics up here... keep up the good work!

Just spotted this...ok....

First one could be any river in Queensland. Probably not far from Beerwah?

Second one must be the Simpson Desert National Park.

assuming your travels were in Queensland
