In case anyone's interested, given the amount of Ferraris there yesterday, I'm trying to get rid of a few mags which have got some serious Ferrari content, including a fantastic group test on Ferrari 288GTO v F40 v F50 v Enzo, and loads of other articles on 550LM, 575M, 360 Stradale, etc, etc.

Was in London yesterday afternoon, and at about 3:30 saw a nice Orange Lambo followed by a Red Ferrari go down Charing Cross Road while I was looking for somewhere to park. Were these two on their way back from VW perchance???

Sounded lovely...

Yup - that was me and Tony996 on way back from VW..

Glad you liked the

Absolutely lovely!!!!

Next time I'll try and make it down to VW, unfortunately Chicken Little in 3D in Leicester Square was higher on the list of priorities yesterday...

Can someone invent a hand signal for VW ?

To explain I had missed the junction for Egham on the M25 and was not sure which way to go, made the plan of catching another sports car and following it (thanks to the Clio V6 driver) gave the usual nice car wave but could have ended up following them to southampton or something.

Did not want to do the obvious of a V then W shape with my hands as it could have been mis construed and turned nasty

Ben

Here is a novel idea... use a map

I convoyed with the southampton/portsmouth lot (thanks to steve etc!) and it added to the fun!

Looks like a really good turnout! I had brain falure and forgot it was on, despite being about only 20 mins away. When's the next meet planned for?

i had a fantastic day, it cheered me up no end after the mornings drastic incident. was really dissappointed that i didnt get to meet anyone, but then i didnt have my car, so nobody knew who i was! still had a good day, and got the f40 going past the car park behind some trees! great! gonna spend an evening editing the video, then will offer it up to Ted.

an idea for the next VW/big PH meet would be that everyone who is a member has a printout of their username, i know that mrmaggit did this sunday, but it would be good if everyone did so we would all sort of know each other. unless of course you have an obvious car linked to your username like tony996_hasgone and his lambo, and eddie 4.2 and his renault spider to name but 2.

i would have enjoyed it a lot more if my car hadn't have been in pieces, but i'm glad i did go otherwise i would have probably just sat at home depressed about it.

I didn't get to meet many new PH'ers either, but then I am shy!

Brilliant day all the same.

Nice to see something totally out of the ordinary, along with the Zagato Hyena!

WTF is that mate! And I assume with a blue badge that is ok to drive up that pavement?!!

sorry I missed you, I was late, knackered and could barely open my eyes. I ducked out of socialising!

I was the bloke who arrived in front of you and came over to ask "are you here for the pistonheads meet?".

When I think about it, that was a bit of a stupid question really.

Nah not at all, hardly a typical PH car is it really after all I could have been going to a meeting of the south east spac wagon appreciation society or somat & taken a wrong turn

I can't believe I missed this meeting, I only live 5 miles away.Did not see it advertised anywhere on Pistonheads.
Would like to go to the next one, if I know when it is.
