Can someone invent a hand signal for VW ?

To explain I had missed the junction for Egham on the M25 and was not sure which way to go, made the plan of catching another sports car and following it (thanks to the Clio V6 driver) gave the usual nice car wave but could have ended up following them to southampton or something.

Did not want to do the obvious of a V then W shape with my hands as it could have been mis construed and turned nasty

Ben

Here is a novel idea... use a map

I convoyed with the southampton/portsmouth lot (thanks to steve etc!) and it added to the fun!

Not so easy to use a map in the Atom, or indeed the wavey lolly pop stick affair suggested by someone above. Also a map does not allow for impromptu convoy formation

...the photos don't do it justice ...you just had to see the Iguana driving it, to realise how "ridiculous" it was!!!

Hold on....so you're saying there was Lizard....in a car....and it looked ridiculous.....

Shurely shome mishtake?

Al, couldn't resist, but note that I didn't post the pic's before giving you a chance to do so.....I think that makes it OK!

Still can't believe you got Mrs Lizard to ride in that thing

I can't believe I missed this meeting, I only live 5 miles away.Did not see it advertised anywhere on Pistonheads.
Would like to go to the next one, if I know when it is.

It was ALL OVER Pistonheads. As a suggestion, try using the "what's new in the last three hours" view, with All Forums selected - that way you pick up everything current. It's in the What's New menu, at the right of the menu bar. For the last few weeks the VW run has been on about half a dozen forums.

Transformed my PH use when I discovered this feature!

lol!

I never saw this at VW, but I did overtake one in Basingstoke in the afternoon. There can't be two of them...

We had to double-back on the ring road for another look. Remember a green cerb going by just before the last A339 ring-road roundabout for Newbury?

That would have been on Lizard's way home, via The Star to Newbury

I did indeed take that way back, but I was pretty much frozen into a block by then, so wasnt paying much attention- other than trying my best to not roll the thing over on roundabouts!
